I would tell them they were out of their mind. \n\nHow could you build cats without green or white, where all the cats are.\n\nBut here we are with a cat tribal Rakdos deck with sack trigures for bigger cats. {"ops":[{"insert":"This deck is primarily a Gruul Walls deck. Hans, the commander, has decided to retire and build him a house. Using the may walls and defensive spells in the deck, Hans is constructing his \"home\", turning a normally aggressive color combo into the most defensive deck possible using walls. For added flavor, there is a \"big bad wolf\" in the deck intent on blowing the house down and using its pieces to damage your opponents in the form of Furystoke Giant. :)\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Dragons but green and white? Not unheard of, but often the color most left out of dragons is white, with very few white dragons being printed, and most of them only as part of cycles. Using these rare dragons as well as the similarly small pool of green dragons as the basis for the deck as opposed to red, or other more traditional colors makes for an interesting challenge.\n\nDragonlord Dromoka leads this dragon army, with the dragons filling out the top and mid range. We will use the strengths of green and white to our advantage. Ramp and card draw allow for a fresh supply of resources to allow for both fast casting and buffing of our dragons. Solid protection and removal while the dragons expand in size and scale is the main plan for retaining control of the board and winning the game.\n"}]}

This changed in rapid succession, with the release of \\[\\[Zhulodok, Void Gorger\\]\\] and \\[\\[Ulalek, Fused Atrocity\\]\\] in a two-year span, but these Commanders suffer from being a bit...polarizing. Certainly, if they stick, next turn you'll have a great value engine to play with, but emphasis rests on 'if'. Eldrazi are broadly high in mana value, like cast triggers, and desperately yearn for an endgame beyond 'make a large dude, perhaps two'. \\[\\[Monk Gyatso\\]\\] fixes those problems. Releasing in ATLA: Eternal, Gyatso has several legs up over the competition, whipping into shape the \\[\\[Eye of Ugin\\]\\] like no Commander before. You can cast him retroactively, as opposed to before your threats (unlike Zhul and Ula), he provides protection for the board, and crucially - he's cheap. Whether you're casting it for \\{2\\} or \\{0\\}, an airbent \\[\\[Void Gorger\\]\\] feels good. Gyatso somehow manages to combine the play patterns of Nadu and Eldrazi, and good lord is it a fun time.
