But this is it's strength, nobody will expect a selesnya deck to not play tokens and to right away start attacking. Enchantments and instant spells are used for protection and evasion, besides pump. And the deck holds a few card combinations that allow for speed:\n* Ramp: Surge Node + Shrine of Boundless Growth\n* Control: Surge Node + Lost Jitte\n\nThe Commander is a draw engine focusing on aggro themselves. There are a few other draw mechanics in the deck, but Kutzil is the main one, allowing for this unorthodox deck to even function.\nThe plenty fight removal cards will allow you to keep creatures safe, removing obstacles like walls or deathtouch creatures.\nYour main mission is to use trample and evasion to get through enemy lines and damage players directly, so Kutzil can draw cards.\n\nThe deck has \"hidden\" finishers if the aggro plan fails:\n* Grove of the Guardian\n* Renata, when played later in the game\nThe one very obvious finisher is Vorinclex, when transformed he will complete the deck's goals even way later in the game.\nTry to keep him in your hand/library for later, especially to play him after an opponent played a successful baord wipe and none of the creatures were hexproof.\n\nThe battles in the deck are used to distract players and to provide for one of the hidden finishers.\nIf they resolve, good for you, if they don't, the player you gave it to will have a card added they have to constantly be worried about, especially if they don't know the card.\n\nThe Sideboard is a vibe check, only use those cards if you know the players and their decks:\n* Red Hate: Dragon's Claw\n* Blue Hate: Sphere of Reason\n* Friendly Move: Tenuous Truce\n* Sneaky Finisher: Surge Node + Shrine of Burning Rage\nIf you don't know decks and people you play with, maybe keep those cards in the sideboard.\n\nWhile the deck's greatest enemy, because of the lack of token generators, are board wipes, there are tons of cards that make creatures indestructible and hexproof.\nEspecially the Combat Medic's main task is to prevent a board vibe with (X) in it's mana cost.\n\n(Insidious Fungus is a nod to Kutzil's goofy flavor text.)\n"}]}
