{"ops":[{"insert":"I built this deck as a funny Christmas present for my romantic partner as a way to try to get them into the game. I think it went well because they like vampires. This deck is WIERD. It focuses on life stuff, card draw and tokens mostly. When the commander comes out, it often doesn't get removed much due to its Ward ability. The commander isn't the easiest to make work, but if you have draw for life gain, gain for draw, ping for life or ping for draw, it goes crazy. You can make hundreds of tokens that only feed the strat even more. The deck can go infinate and will sometimes randomly kill players with Peer Into The Abyss. You can even use it on yourself to do some wild kills with draing for draw effects. If you draw your entire library while having an effect that drains for each card drawn, plus Vito. You can kill off players one by one. The deck is super random, sometimes it doesnt do much, but when it gets the right cards, even if it doesnt win, it will die trying to kill the whole table. Some games with this deck ended in a loss, but left the whole table in shambles in terms of life values. I find this strat to be really fun and sneaky. You can set up elaborate contraptions with drain and life gain for card draw, where drawing for draw step will set off a chain-lighting effect of life gain and ping damage. I'd say the deck needs more upgrades for it to actually be a bit more consistent but right now it's still decently strong. The deck also comes with some really silly discard and Duress type effects that can help with political stuff. Loran of the 3rd path... oh yeah, politics, THIS deck does it WELL. Duress, Dispise and the rest of the reveal hand effects are so fun to pull off. You can create a ton of political engagements and command the game, make threats and keep yourself form getting targeted in exchange for resources or messing with the enemy. This isn't the main focus of the deck but it's funny that it has it as a side thing. All in all, I love esper, I love this deck and I will make sure it gets upgraded to a level of consistency that feels balanced and fun to play and to play against. But I also want it to be a villain! Better talk to my partner about how we can upgrade it together.\n"}]}
