{"ops":[{"insert":"An (almost) auraless Zur deck because I'm tired of seeing beat stick lists for this scrungly old man.\n\nGameplan:\n\nThis is a Lifegain / Control deck that uses two Toolbox Packages based on what is needed when. Most of the cards in the 'Control' toolbox either combo with Necrodominance or at least one other card in that toolbox. Cards in the 'Response' Toolbox are meant to be taken as needed to either soft or hard counter whatever the dominant threat among your opponents happens to be. You should only search for cards in the 'Control' Toolbox category if you already have another card from that category in hand and ready to play, each game you'll be assembling a different mix based on your opening hand and first few draws. The strongest by far is Necrodominance + Words of Worship + Words of Waste, allowing you to convert 2 mana into \"gain 4 life, each opponent discards a card\" as much as you can pay for during your end step. \n\nOnce you have your opponents under your thumb with a control package you can start closing things with one of it's aggressive beater cards in the 'Finisher' category.\n\nThings to NEVER do:\n-Use Zur to tutor for Rhystic Study, this is a smooth brain waste of a valuable Zur attack step and will just turn the table against you early.\n-Use a board wipe against an aggro player. The deck has a robust lifegain package so early blocks really don't matter. Board wipes are only to be used on request by opponents to score political favor or save yourself from certain death.\n-Block to protect Dakkon, he's there to distract your opponents and exile things.\n"}]}
