Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"This is a weird commander to build, but I think I have a solid list here. The goal is essentially to get extra upkeeps and extra turns to make Taigam's suspend go faster so that we can do weird things with copies of permanents. This deck isn't meant to chain infinite turns. It can take several turns in a row under the right, unlikely, circumstances, but the extra turns are really to just get more upkeep triggers, and attacks if we happen to have any decent creatures to attack with. \n\nThe end goal of this deck is essentially to use cards in the \"copy\" category of the deck to make extra copies of cards in the \"threats\" category. Because of copying spells and putting them on suspend, this deck has the potential to cast a lot more spells than usual, so cards like Tidespout Tyrant can really lock down opponents' boards, especially if we have more than one copy. \n\nWe also don't want to take a million turns and lock opponents out of the game for all eternity, so the main threats are attached to big, flying bodies so that we can attack our opponents and eventually get their life total to zero. \n\nAside from the big flying threats, there are a couple cards that can grow tokens exponentially. The obvious one is Homunculus Horde, the near-equivalent of a blue scute swarm. A less obvious one is Extravagant Replication, although it is harder to do. If you cast Extravagant Replication as a second spell, copying it and suspending the original with Taigam, once the suspended version comes into play, you can have two Extravagant Replications, and with two of them, they can target each other. With enough upkeeps, you can have two, then four, then eight, then sixteen, and so on. At some point you can use them to make 16 copies of Marang River Regent or Astral Dragon. It might seem nearly impossible to do, and it's true that it isn't easy to pull off, but with the right hand, this deck can ramp very quickly and get things off of suspend in one or two turns. \n"}]}
