Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"This deck is filled with some of the hardest working creatures who give it everything they've got every time they attack. They give 110% and its that extra 10% that makes them better than the average creature, but it also makes it so they need extra time to recover. The key ability in this deck is \"Exert\". Exert allows a creature to do something extra when it attacks, but they must also wait an extra untap step before they can untap again. This deck focuses on using that extra 10% of effort and then completely removing the creature's recovery time. \n\nThe commander for this deck is "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Augusta, Dean of Order // Augusta, Dean of Order"}},{"insert":" who is an MDF card where we only focus on playing the Augusta side. She allows you to untap each creature you control once you attack, while giving +1/+0 to other tapped creatures you control, and +0/+1 to other untapped creatures you control. This deck has 20 creatures with the \"Exert\" ability and we are going to want to attack and exert them as often as possible. Attacking with your exert cards like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Ahn-Crop Crasher"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Glory-Bound Initiate"}},{"insert":", or "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Sandstorm Crasher"}},{"insert":" first gives them a +1/+0 boost from the commander, then they get to do their extra 10% exert ability, and lastly they get to instantly be untapped and ready to defend with a nice little +0/+1. \n\nSome creatures work best with the more exert creatures you control like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Vizier of the True"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Trueheart Twins"}},{"insert":", or "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Resolute Survivors"}},{"insert":". Then you work your way up to the real heavy exert hitters like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Glorybringer"}},{"insert":", and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Combat Celebrant"}},{"insert":". Since this deck's main focus is untapping your creatures, I have added a bunch of creatures with tap abilities like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Kamahl, Pit Fighter"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Intrepid Hero"}},{"insert":", and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Ballynock Trapper"}},{"insert":" which will allow you to use their abilities twice per round. Our commander also allows us to take full advantage of absolute monsters like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Traxos, Scourge of Kroog"}},{"insert":" and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Mage-Ring Responder"}},{"insert":" who once they attack, do not untap unless you meet the untap requirement. But now they get to attack and untap instantly, and not only be available to defend, but they are ready for their next attack without missing any time. \n\nThe commander, Agusta, Dean of Order has one last and kind of unusual part to her ability. It comes after you untap each creature you control on attack. She then allows you to re-tap creatures you control.... So I decided to try and find a use for this part as well. Cards that require an untap to use its ability like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Hateflayer"}},{"insert":" or "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Order of Whiteclay"}},{"insert":" will still be able to attack (only if they want), then get untapped from our commander, only to choose to be tapped again so we can set them up to use their untap ability in the same round. Other cards like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Throne of the God-Pharaoh"}},{"insert":" or "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Dragonscale General"}},{"insert":" take full advantage of your creatures being left tapped. \n"}]}
