{"ops":[{"insert":"Credit for the base idea of this deck goes to JamesChats\nLink here:\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WE_-cBzYlq0\n\nIt is a huge amount of fun to beat someone with a ~$300.00 deck with Treebeard and a bunch of commons that are $44.00. :-D \n\nThis is a Voltron TreeBeard Lifegain / Commander damage deck. It does very well against most decks up to level 3 and can even stand against some level 4 decks with a decent draw.\nNo one expects treebeard to go from a 0/5 to a 100/105 but the deck can do it. \n\nI have modified the deck to speed it up with some basic cheap dual lands, and some fetch land cards. I also swapped out some of the larger cost cards in the deck for things that are cheaper, draw cards, and also gain life.\n\nThe goal of the Deck is to get Treebeard, Ajani's Pridemate or Celestial Unicorn out and protect them long enough for them to get bigger....and bigger.\nIf you can get Brightblade Stoat or Healers Hawk, or pretty much any other creature with Light of Promise on it and protect it, you are rolling. \n\nGriffin Aerie can pump out a ton of 2/2 flyers in this deck.\n\nLion Umbra is a much underrated card in my opinion, especially in this deck as it prevents Destroy effects once.\n\nTwinblade Blessing, Life Link, and Spirit Link round out the rest of the cards that really get the deck rolling.\n\nIn most cases you can two hit the first person for commander damage before people realize what is going on. In one good game Treebeard was stacked with enchantments that were tripling his power and toughness each attack. I two hit the first player, and then one hit the other two for commander damage. TreeBeard was over 200 power, and I had a *lot* of life.\nThe only weakness in the deck is if someone is playing dedicated creature removal, it is difficult to keep rolling but the lifegain can help you last long enough to make a comeback. They pretty much have to kill TreeBeard on sight before you can get going again. If they can't then you are off to the lifegain races again.\n"}]}
