Draw 4 is usually Return's floor with Rin and Seri out, though it's not unusual to be drawing 6 or 7 cards with our abundant +1/+1 counter buffs. Don't forget this card also has a second mode that pushes big damage through, which is very much appreciated. It additionally cantrips and protects against things like Thoughtseize and Blatant Thievery (it protects you in addition to creatures). This card's use is more limiting than it first appears. What Akroma's does do well in, however, is closing out games. Flawless Maneuver, though a bit weaker in its protection, makes up for it by being a \"free\" card most times. It saves our board from the Blasphemous Acts and Wrath of Gods of the world. Both cards also have the added function of combat tricks to help us push damage through while keeping our board intact.\n\n"},{"attributes":{"color":"#66b966"},"insert":"Whitemane Lion + Fleetfoot Panther"},{"attributes":{"header":2},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Functionally the same card: they bounce back creatures at instant speed. Both have a notable infinite combo synergy with Aluren, which we are not running since the deck is intended to be fun and not competitive. This can set us up for a win-con next turn, making our field stronger than ever! Temur Sabertooth is something of a pet card of mine, and I'm always looking to find excuses to run it. This big kitty plays a clutch role in saving our creatures from dying, while simultaneously recycling our hand for more ETB triggers. It even protects itself with Indestructible! Very, very strong effect! Teferi's Protection is naturally better since we the player don't exist either, giving us a free turn to live for another day. I probably overrate this card, but I quite enjoy it. All three modes are relevant. Whether it be cheating in a lethal blow (not even necessarily our own creature), or simply winning a combat they weren't expecting, this instant speed shenanigan should not go underestimated. The burn mode is the least helpful, but it's still nice to take someone out if they are greeding too low on life, or if you wish to take out a Tevesh Svat before it begins scaling out of control.\n"}]}
