This deck is all value plays in order to grind your opponents down while maintaining your own in order to open up a direct path to allow for your Jund deck to do Jund things.\n\nThe core of the deck is a host of ETB and death trigger creatures that ensure that you take full advantage of their benefits a full turn sooner. This is to ensure that although your creatures, when Blitzed out, do not stick around for long, their advantages coming in and out of the battlefield continue to have a long-lasting impact on your gameplay moving forward. For example, cards like Seedguide Ash, Rampant Rejuvenator, Primeval Herald, Ancient Copper Dragon, Atsushi, the Blazing Sky, and Old Gnawbone allow you to get bursty mana a whole turn earlier and on the turn of, leaving your opponents little opportunity to respond to them. Other cards, such as Smothering Abomination, Corpse Augur, and Solemn Simulacrum, become exponentially better with Henzie's ability due to your being able to gain their benefits in the same turn to a greater degree.\n\nOn the other half of the deck are a host of control-based removal cards. The nature of midrange decks is that to ensure that your card advantage will lead you toward a win, you need to ensure that your opponents cannot respond in turn to keep up with you. Cards like Kogla, the Titan Ape, Foundation Breaker, Zangief, the Red Cyclone, and Ravenous Chupacabra are all-star removal cards, and I've found that board-wipes-on-a-stick cards like Primaris Eliminator and Massacre Wurm have been significantly overperforming in this deck. Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire, has been the best performing removal card from my experience, as it could control all three opponents at the same time; sacrifice itself after a Blitz to ensure that you lose nothing from its own ability; and kill your own Blitzed creatures to ensure that you get the card draw without needing to wait till the end of the turn. Outside of creature cards, this deck hosts a few one-sided board wipes such as Delayed Blast Fireball and Mizzium Mortars to more easily control three opponents and ensure an easier time cutting a path towards direct damage with your creatures.\n\nThe glue that holds these two core concepts in this deck together is its Reanimator suite. There are more than a dozen cards in the deck that allows you to retrieve cards from the graveyard to ensure that you can reuse your value generators and control cards over and over again to grind your opponents down. There's no better feeling than being able to recur cards like Primaris Eliminator, Deadly Rollick, and Delayed Blast Firefall repeatedly and making your opponents realize they are never out of the clear when facing this deck. On that note, Incarnation Technique is the best feeling card in this deck and never seems to miss. Protean Hulk is quite possibly the best card in the deck and allows you to craft the board you want: it's an incredibly flexible, toolboxy card that allows you to respond to whatever the current board state is, and its ability to find cards like Sevala, Heart of the WIlds for card draw and mana; Feldon of the Third Path to revive Protean Hulk repeatedly; and Eternal Witness to recur graveyard cards allows you total freedom in controlling the flow of the game. Apex Devastator is a fun card that needs no introduction, and Imperial Recruiter is a flexible creature-based tutor that's grabbable off of Protean Hulk that can go in different directions, depending on whether you need card advantage, recursion, removal, or mana.\n\nThis deck can afford to play fast and loose with its advantage and control cards due to its abundant ways of reusing cards and digging through the deck. While this deck differs from other Green or Jund decks in that it can't typically box in the same weight class in terms of big runaway Timmy cards, it also differs from other Jund and Green decks in that it controls the flow of the game and the advantages levied against your opponents.\n"}]}
