Accumulate Shrines, and then pump the effects for profit.\n\nThe red and black Shrines will be the main targets here. They are generally burners and drainers, and once you have accumulated enough Shrine density they can win quite quickly.\n\nI won't go through each one, they are all good to greater or lesser extents, but I will mention "},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Sanctum of Stone Fangs"},{"insert":", which is the best by far. It is cheap to cast, at only 2-mana. It hits all opponents, not just a single target. Lastly, it also has lifegain. It only targets creatures and planeswalkers, it cannot target a playdr. And it costs both mana and discarding a specific card type to activate. The squeeze just isn't worth the juice for this one.\n\nSo try to get your hands on "},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Sanctum of All "},{"insert":"as early as possible, and tutor up as many Shrines as possible. Once you have 5-7 Shrines on board, with the associated "},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Shrine Tokens"},{"insert":" taking the count to 10+, the damage-dealing Shrines should finish things off quickly.\n\n\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"2. Recursion"},{"insert":"\n\nThis deck can draw a disgusting amount of cards. It is not uncommon to have two enchantresses in play, and be drawing 10+ cards a turn. The blue Shrines will also draw a stupid amount of cards once they get going.\n\nSo I found myself discarding fist-fulls of cards at the end of each turn. At first my attention turned to \"no max hand size\" effects, but this was a trap. We want the discard. Most importantly, we want to be able to selectively discard big spells for sneaky recursion. So I put "},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Go-Shintai of Lost Wisdom "},{"insert":"back in the deck, aiming to mill myself and fill my yard wherever possible. \n\nOur Shrine commander's second ability is often overlooked. For WUBRG we can put any enchantment from the graveyard directly into play.
