{"ops":[{"insert":"Our gameplan really revolves around Caparocti, so our first few turns our main goal is to reach 4 mana. That includes playing lands, casting our mana rocks, and utility artifacts. Once we cast our Commander, we need to attack an opponent and tap two artifacts and/or creatures to trigger the Discover mechanic., this allows us to cycle through our deck for our spells and essentially get a free cast. Sometimes we do get lucky, and we hit an equipment or enchantment like Scourge of the Nobilis or even a Double Strike pump spell that can be used our creatures. Other times we miss our Discover trigger and have to place that card into our hand, luckily our misses are not as bad as it usually gets us either a protection spell, a utility artifact, or another utility creature that can help us keep the pressure up.\n\nOne of the biggest downfalls of this deck is that Caparocti is the linchpin of the deck and needs protection, this is why we run a pretty decent protection package. Our protection package also does double duty by not only protecting our commander but also giving him protection to go in for a Commander damage kill. In addition, we also run a small but very important removal package, this allows us to slow down our opponents just enough to secure a kill and possibly a win. We round out this deck with an evasion package, this includes spells that gives our attackers flying, menace, and trample to ensure that our attacks dent our opponent's life total, this includes the Pegasus type creatures that help your creature \"jump\" over defenders. \n\nNote: \nIf you trigger Caparocti's Discover ability with Attentive Sunscribe or Samite Herbalist, make sure you stack the triggers such that you resolve the Discover triggers first, then you resolve the scry triggers to set up your next draw."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Vorrac Battlehorns and any spell that gives your creature menace will make your creature unlockable. If played correctly, Benevolent Blessing can also make Caparocti unlockable and untargetable by mono-colored decks. Cards like Stave Off, Shelter, or Emerge Unscathed provide your creature with color protection.
