{"ops":[{"insert":"When I heard \"I'm not here for a long time, I'm here for a good time\" my mind went to the creature type of Illusions. They are here to smack face and do some damage but only as long as you don't target them. They aren't here for long but hopefully they'll do some damage before they leave.\n\nThis deck is full of your classic Illusions that pop when they are targeted, such as Phantasmal Bear. In fact, the deck is full of as many permanents that will eventually go away while keeping the deck playable. Mechanics like Fading, Vanishing, Cumulative Upkeep, and Phasing fit into this category. A couple of sagas make an appearance too as they go away after 3-4 turns. With lots of Illusions the deck has a couple typal pay offs like Reflections of Littjara. Cards like Excavation make it so even my lands can be temporary. Speaking of Lands, some of them can become creatures for the turn, playing even more into the theme of not being here for a long time. My commander Rayne compliments this theme well. With it being very easy for my opponents to get rid of my creatures, she allows a little bit a value to be had when they do so. She also probably won't say around for long too with having 1 point of toughness. This deck embodies well the spirit of not being around for long, but it's gonna be fun when it is.\n"}]}
