{"ops":[{"insert":"This is an updated version of one of my most viewed decks from 6 months ago. \n\nYou know the drill, put a bunch of Auras on Bruna and make the grass grow. \n\nYou can make her an 11/11+ with double strike and unblockable to OHK a player using only three auras: Auramancer's Guise, Battle Mastery, and either Aqueous Form, Security Bypass, or Steel of the Godhead. There are many other combinations that work but these are the simplest. Corrupted Conscience can steal an opponent's creature and then be moved to Bruna to give her the option for an infect kill. \n\nHeliod's Pilgrim, Open the Armory, Three Dreams, Invasion of Theros, and Light-Paws will tutor these auras for you. Likely you'll have some good ones in your opening hand but these will help you assemble the other pieces you'll need. Much of the card draw in this deck also surveils, which will let you pitch auras for Bruna to recur when she swings.\n\nI've put in a large helping of control as well: Ghostly Prison and Propaganda to deter people from swinging at you during setup, some spot removal and o-ring auras plus Winds of Rath and Supreme Verdict to wipe the board and buy time, and Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir to prevent people from interacting with your board. Vanishing and Flickerform can phase Bruna out to dodge removal, and Gift of Immortality can bring her right back even if she gets killed. \n\nAjani's Chosen and Archon of Sun's Grace are there to make blockers and hold Auras for Bruna. Flooding auras in with one or both of these creatures on the board can even give you enough tokens to threaten a non-Voltron go-wide kill. \n\nHaste is notably missing from white and blue auras so unfortunately we have to rely on artifacts like Swiftfoot Boots or Crashing Drawbridge to let Bruna take lives as soon as she comes out. There is also the much more Azorius flavored tactic of subterfuge. You can use Teferi or Leyline of Anticipation to flash in Bruna on your opponent's endstep so she is not summoning sick when you get your first combat phase. Alternatively you can flash her in as a surprise blocker if your opponents didn't read the card. \n\nOne of the biggest threats to this deck is getting Farewell'd since it can be really difficult to rebuild from zero, especially if some of your best auras get exiled. Just hold up counter magic if you suspect that might be coming. The other major weaknesses of this deck is inherent in all Voltron strategies, being that you can only attack one player per turn with your commander. We're not in red so no extra combats, but we have some tools to help us survive the crack-back from our other opponents. Luckily she has Vigilance built in. Entangler paired with one of our good protection auras can let Bruna block an entire board of creatures by herself and still keep her around afterwards. \n\nFuture upgrades will include a couple of \"target player mills half their library\" spells, target player being you. It's not a tutor but in some ways it can be even better considering the \"any number\" clause in Bruna's recursion. I'm also considering some extra turns to deal with that Voltron problem.
