This is a deck that has a TON of decision points. It's got a TON of synergistic triggers. The issue with that deck was that it just trended towards non-deterministic combo storm turns. I think it played pretty uniquely using charms, but it was also just not as fun to sit across from while the pilot took a hundred game actions, fiddled with counters for mana, did a bunch of math, and didn't go 'infinite' traditionally. Much akin to a Nadu experience. I took it apart after a few weeks.\n\nThis version was meant to play on other players' turns with high amounts of interaction, making mana through activating Ramos on other turns while saving the mana with Omnath, then winning with "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Siege Rhino"}},{"insert":" + "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Threefold Signal"}},{"insert":" . There are dedicated CEDH pods. For that meta, this deck was often too strong for the table, even when explicitly asking for the 'high power' pod, and having extensive pre-game convos. I find that, barring CEDH levels of interaction and speed, this deck can just outramp, draw, and interact almost any deck you put it against unless it's been tuned by a very competent player. \n\nI would say most of my LGS is a low to high level 3 (if we ignore the game changers list) and this deck would pretty easily handle most.\n\nIt's actually successfully interacted with CEDH decks on multiple occasions. It will just die to a turn 2-3 win-attempt, but if the pod holds itself in check for turn 4-7, this deck thrives.\nBecause the deck is designed around using charms, you'll often find yourself in a position to have 4-9 different types of interaction effects across only a handful of cards. Against a CEDH Ral storm player, I found myself able to counter his ritual with bant charm, exile his graveyard in response to his underworld breach with rakdos charm, make him sac his commander with riveteers charm, or bounce a permanent with maestros charm. Replicating crackling doom 6 times can probably lock the board down or even finish off a player, or give you the opportunity to swing in by starting to pump some of the aragorn power into a creature who isn't summoning sick. Only 15 non-lands don't count as multicolored in the deck, which means having any of the three in combination with either jeskai ascendancy or fallaji wayfarer let's you tutor for the other and start going off.\n\nBut the tokens have another friend! Clarion is a joke, but I did consider it as a big ramp spell targeting basic lands, which is where boundless came in--double the lands for the same price and nonbasics. We don't run enough permanents or graveyard synergy to justify Eerie. We run Ruinous, but likely could find better. \n\nInspired and Cruel are probably good enough to include, but truly don't scale enough with replication. The deck already runs a lot of jank, and these are too expensive for too little impact. I also deck myself before Inspired or Cruel does enough damage to kill, whereas charms select modes if I am in range of a kill. \n\nMost of the confluences are just unfortunately too weak to run. \nThe ascendancies don't jive with the plan. Sultai would be fine if I had space, temur would be OK to have a haste enabler for my tokens or rhino storms, and maestros seems like the second best aligned ascendancy, but it doesn't cheat on costs and I'd rather play a recursion game. \n\n\n\n \n"}]}
