Description

{"ops":[{"insert":"Roaring Furnace / Steaming Sauna is a card that tickles my brain.\n\nTrying to take the UW control shell and adding red for Roaring Furnace / Steaming Sauna, Lightning Helix, Deafening Clarion, Fiery Impulse, and big mama Chandra, as well as a few bangers in the sideboard. And I was surprised to find out after testing that the mana is in fact good enough in pioneer to support this deck with the lands from outlaws of thunder junction. \n\nI know it seems like heresy to play zero Teferi in a UW based control list, but Chandra has been much better in testing. She is better at stabilizing, and the card advantage you would get with Teferi kind of just isn't necessary because she's going to kill your opponents in a few turns anyway. \n\nYorion can bounce your room which resets it and lets you re-unlock the removal side of it.\n\nOne of the goals for this was to find a way around the awkwardness of traditional UW lists where the 3 mana sweeper conflicted with High Noon and your cheapest removal. In this version, the 3 mana sweepers have no conflicts with anything, and in fact synergize with the token plan from Wanderer and Ral.\n\nStill tuning the total package of counters/removal/sweepers.\n"}]}
