{"ops":[{"insert":"I am trying to utilize the Archidekt Collection feature as my primary collection tracker, and I also try to actively sell and trade cards and keep the collection updated accordingly. A few of the challenges I currently have, and proposed possible solutions are:\n\nFrom the Collections, page, I have nothing to go off of other than my memory to tell whether each card entry (sometimes an entry of quantity 2+) is in a deck or not. So, if I'm going \"hm, I have 3 copies of card X in my collection, is 1 a spare that I could sell\" the only way for me to answer this is to actually go into one of the card entries and view the \"in decks\" list there. Unfortunately much of the time this also doesn't answer what I'm actually looking to find out, as I may have theorycrafted decks that exist as a decklist but not actual owned cards. Archidekt definitely has the information on which cards I own, and also has the information for all of my decklists (including paper ones AND theorycrafted ones), but the information isn't stitched together in a way that I can actually use to this end."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"I use the export feature of the collection to export my decks for import into other trading/selling sites, such as Cardsphere. Related to the above point, I am trying to figure out how to upload only the cards that are *actually* available for trade, versus cards which I'm currently using in decks. My approach so far has been to manually tag each individual card as something (ex. Hold) in my Collection, then once exported remove all entries with the Hold tag before uploading to the other site. The downside to this approach is that it is currently only possible to add tags on a card-by-card basis, and this process generally has quite a lag for me. An option to multi-select and add/edit tags via the Collection page would speed this up significantly, or a dedicated \"for sell/trade\" attribute. Combining this point and the above, another way to approach this would be if there were a way from a decklist to add a tag to all of the collection entries that align with cards in that decklist (I realize this is probably impossible, but wishlisting)."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"A history of collection adds AND REMOVES would be very helpful. Since I am maintaining my collection in archidekt while trading via other sites, it is easy to lose track of which buys and sells I have updated my collection to reflect or not. Right now if I sell 1 copy of a card that I previously had 2 of in my collection, if I go back to look at my collection I have to go off of memory to recall \"did I have two of these before, or 3\"?"},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"}]}

Matching decks to collection records isn't impossible to do, the problem is the UI gets really unintuitive very quickly. We can't just do updates, we would want users to confirm the changes, and you could imagine how that would get gross pretty fast. \n\nA history of collection adds AND REMOVES would be very helpful"},{"attributes":{"blockquote":true},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\nThis one would also be really difficult. Too often people will nuke their entire collection, do some large edit in excel, then reimport. Attempting to manage a history when users regularly delete and readd tens of thousands of records would probably cause issues I'd think. I'll give this one some thought since tbh, I have never considered collection history. But I'm not overly hopeful on this unfortunately. \n\nHope the first two help, sorry for the less than idea news on the second 2 😅. Regardless, we appreciate suggestions like this! \n"}]}
