{"ops":[{"insert":"As the title says, it works be cool to be able to group your cards by name rather than see all the individual prints. For instance to see you have 87 forest lands rather than 4 lands from drakonstorm, 2 from modern horizons, etc.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"So this isn't impossible to do, nor is it a bad idea in premis, the problem with doing it is what is shown and how is it conveyed to the user. I'd be pretty concerned that a user entering this view (and it would have to be a standalone, completely separated view), wouldn't really understand what was going on. \n\nIn this view, you couldn't really edit anything, since you wouldn't be looking at any specific collection record, we could potentially build a way to dig from the generic view into a specific record for that card, but then it just starts to scope creep. \n\nBetween all that, and the fact that because this would need to be it's own entirely separate thing, it'd be fairly complex for not a whole lot of gain. I think it'd be to tough to justify prioritizing it. \n\nWhat would be the problem that this is solving? Is there a specific reason gou would like a view like this? It's possible we could solve the problem a different way. \n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I was just thinking in convenience to the user when sorting out physical cards really. For example having a considerable collection of cards but not neccesarily knowing how many you can trade while keeping 4 for yourself. If you could group these cards, you can just sort them out by number (ammount) her, and would know how many of these cards of a unique name you have over 4 in your collection.\n\nAnother use is while building a deck from only the cards you actually have (for commander, mainly). Rather than keep scrolling down while you try to ignore 6-7-8-9 identical cards for each card with a unique name it would be nice to just see each card once really. This doesn't look like a huge thing for small collections, but I'm finding myself spending a lot of time scrolling down and looking at identical cards as my collection grows...\n\nI don't know, it was just a suggestion. I was actually surprised such an option didn't exist as it seemed an obvious feature to have. I guess everything always seems easier from the outside :-)\n"}]}
