I don't need the deck to be fringe cedh, I just want it to be a little stronger so It feels more like a commander deck rather than \"zombie token simulator\". I like Geralf as the commander, but I'm open to swithching him out and changing the plan a little bit if needed. My only final request would be to keep suggestions on a little bit of a budget since its a paper deck, thanks in advance for any future help! Map out exactly what you want to do on each turn.\nConsider how you will build an engine, and how many cards you will need to get there.\n\nFor example, in order to cast lots of spells you need to draw lots of cards and have the mana to cast those spells. \n\nTurn 1\nTurn 2 - ramp?\nTurn 3 - Cast commander\nTurn 4 - ?\nTurn 5 - Cast 3 spells? (Do you have the resources to do this? How did you)\nTurn 6 - Cast 3 spells again? Do you have enough spells in hand to do this?\nTurn 7 - Buff team (How many zombies are on the board at this point?)\n\nOnce you figure out what you want to be doing and on which turn you can then think about the ratio of cards in your deck. If you're trying to get a coastal piracy effect by turn 4 you probably want a significant number of them in your deck and/or be digging for cards turns one and two.\n\nYou also want cards that can help you in many situations/phases of the game.
