UI Suggestion: Least destructive options first to prevent information loss

{"ops":[{"insert":"Hi Archidekt!\n\nI cannot stress how much I love this site and how much of my waking hours spent fine tuning my deck on here. Thank you for making a wonderful, wonderful tool!\n\nI had a small UI suggestion: put the least destructive UI options first, i.e., the option that causes the least information loss as default. This will prevent accidents in most cases and it puts the option which requires the most thought last in the list (though the undo is always nice!).\n\nI noticed at least two spots where this occurs:\nIn the Maybeboard Category quick button on the full card view, the first option is \"Set Maybeboard as only category\" and the second is \"Set Maybeboard as primary\". I'm more likely to choose the latter than the former, in case I want to put the card back in my deck."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"In the multi-edit category menu, after selecting multiple cards, the first option is: \"Overwrite Categories,\" then \"Use new primary...\", then \"Use existing.\" This one is a bit tricky since multi-select can be used for many reasons. My suggestion would be putting it in the order: \"Use existing\" --> \"Use new primary\" --> \"Overwrite Categories,\" but in this case, I wonder if the ordering is best left to whatever your analytics says is most common. For me, I use \"Use existing\" most of the time since I usually want to do two passes: first pass is to loosely categorize stuff in bulk, then go through the cards in the category and sort them using right click, \"Move to category\". Everyone's workflow is different so I wouldn't stress it too much, but I wouldn't put \"Overwrite Category\" first since that causes the most information loss."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\nI haven't noticed it in other places, but I figured twice is a trend! Thanks again, have a lovely day.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I don't dislike this philosophy in premis, and in many cases I think I'd agree. But I'm not sure I agree with it in this specific instance. \n\nThe reason the singular category options are first is primarilly because that's what the majority of users use. It also has the added benefit of not \"accidentilly\" getting multiple categories into deck where the user did not very explicitly want them. \n\nMultiple categories, while extremely powerful, can be confusing for newer users, or users who don't use them intentionally. So we try to avoid that becoming the behavior where we can unless the user very explicitly sets it that way.\n\nThat's our thought process anyway based on keeping an eye on user behavior. \n"}]}
