{"ops":[{"insert":{"card-link":"Arcane Denial"}},{"insert":" \n\nSo Arcane Denial was what made me think of using this. Basically, if I play a cantrip, and then counter it with arcane denial, I just got a two mana draw three. Though I am only up one card. This seems like a really useful thing, and I was wondering if anyone had come across tricks like this. You know, using settle the wreckage on yourself when you’re attacking with a whole lot of tokens to turbo ramp, or using angelic ascension to make a 1/1 into a 4/4 with flying. I think we all can agree that a two mana 4/4 with flying that you have to sacrifice a creature for to cast is good. Anyways, what’s everyone’s else’s thoughts?\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I do not agree regarding the 4/4 with flying, it is too much setup and sundial, dawn tyrant is also a 2mana 3/3 and totally unplayed. Even Serra ascendant is not played a ton in commander and he is basically a 1 mana 6/6 with flying and lifelink (though he is definitely good).\n\nStill, I like this kind of flexible removal. I heard of people using path to exile as ramp. I am currently building a slimes against humanity deck in which I surgical extraction myself. And of course there is cleansing wildfire with indestructible lands to ramp and draw for 2 mana \n\nMaybe counter an uncounterable spell with arcane denial, then you really draw 3!\n\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Yeah, the setup might make it hard, and it’s not good enough removal on its own to justify running it for that. \n\nIve never played with cards like slimes against humanity, I think that cards that you can put as many copies as you like kind of go against the idea of a singleton format. That said, the deck sounds fun, even if it’s not my preferred thing. \n\nThat’s a good idea, but really only useful if you’re already playing spells that can’t be countered, because you’ll need quite a few to pull it off. \n\nI’ve considered using Narset’s reversal as a like a buyback option for spells, but I’ve thought it a waste, considering the other shenanigans you can get up to with it, especially against storm decks. Copying their storm spell, and yours resolves first since it goes onto the stack later and it’s great.\n\nthanks for the thoughts, I currently am having trouble deciding when to use it as removal, and when as value.\n"}]}
