{"ops":[{"insert":"Hello!\n\nWhen searching for cards in the Deck Builder, I use syntax search 95% of the time because I'm not good at remembering card names but have a solid grasp on Oracle syntax. I've become fairly quick at typing out what I'm looking for and getting useful results. The other 5% I use the EDHrec and Combos features.\n\nThis week I've been putting in work scanning my paper collection with ManaBox and importing the data into Archideckt. The plan was to build (or at least start building) new decks only from cards in my collection. I've gotten pretty good at using the Archideckt builder as well and there are really no major features I can think of that I'm missing. So I (naively) just sort of assumed I could replicate my syntax search bulding workflow limited to only my collection. Unfortunately it looks like this is not possible. \n\nI can see threads from a few years ago requesting similar features. Is this now within scope? \n\nThank you! 🙏\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"It's not on the current roadmap. It is so slow for some collections that I wouldn't want to encourage it to be used outside of circumstances where you couldn't search for something any other way. \n\nThe problem is that the current collection syntax search requires us to send your entire collection to scryfall, then allow them to filter it down. This works perfectly fine for small to mid sized collections, but for larger collections (10k+ records) it can slow down significantly.\n\nI do still hope to add it someday, if we can speed it up significantly. But as it stands users would just enable it, and not understand why they're having a sub par experience. \n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Understood, thank you for the reply! \n\nHave you considered making text operators for the Archideckt search? The Advanced section has the most important fields available; Oracle, Type, Color/ID, Rarity etc etc - would it be feasible to make those accessible directly from the search string, similar to a o: or t: on Scryfall? It would be great to have the option of typing things out instead finding the right text box and clicking on radio buttons.\n"}]}
