PSA/Suggestion for Advanced Search
{"ops":[{"insert":"When entering oracle text to search for in a card, only results that match that text exactly and in that specific order show up. For example, if I search for "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"target creature"},{"insert":", nothing that says "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"target attacking creature"},{"insert":" will show up. After messing around with it a bit, I found that putting quotation marks around each individual word allowed me to find the words in no particular order on a card, so \""},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"target"},{"insert":"\" \""},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"creature"},{"insert":"\" would show a card that said "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"target attacking creature"},{"insert":". In my experience with card search engines (namely Gatherer and Scryfall), having the order of the words not matter was the default. This made trying to do a search confusing, especially when the solution wasn't stated anywhere in the search engine.\nTL;DR: Searching for oracle text shows only exact matches for the text. You can make the word order not matter by putting quotes around each individual word. This should either be made the default or there should be something to tell the user how to search like this.\n\nThanks for the consideration!\nEdit: took out a typo\n"}]}
