Suggestion: Tags, version control and other
{"ops":[{"insert":"Hi there\n\nI have just started using Archidekt, and I think the deckbuilder is very good. However, I do have some suggestions for improvement. Specifically, I want to point out a few features it needs to become truly great. \n\nVersion control: A feature that is sorely needed. Version control keeps check on previous iterations of a deck. This way, you can make changes on a deck, and if you don't like them go back to an earlier iteration. Moreover, you can see the development of your deck over time which is really neat. Deckstats.net has this feature and version control is the primary reason I am sticking with that deckbuilder for now. "},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Card tags in deck: Often, when building decks, I want to have an overview of what types of cards there are in my deck for example removal, card draw, and tutors. Being able to add tags to card in a deck would resolve this issue. You could take the idea even further, and let Archidekt calculate how many cards you have for each tag! That would be amazing. "},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Hotkey for adding card: When searching for a card to add, and there is only one card fitting the search, it would be very nice if a hotkey existed that would add the card directly to the deck. This way, you would be able to add a lot of card to the deck quickly, which would specifically be useful for EDH decks. Could such a feature potentially be implemented? "},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Card hovering: When hovering over card text to get a card image using the text display, the card image completely covers the text of the cards names below it. Have you considered move the image a bit to the right, so the image does not cover all the text? "},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\nThank you reading and considering my suggestions. \n"}]}

5 years{"ops":[{"insert":"Thanks for the awesome suggestions, I'll take these in order.\n\n1) We've talked about version control for a while now. The problem we've always come down to with this one is how much or how little we actually want to do with this. Do we only allow for manual versioning of decks, so the user has to set a version before moving to the next. Or do we keep track of every change, from foil, to edition, to cards, etc? Then, how does one reconcile the changes if they want to go back? We haven't really come to an answer yet but this is something we'd definitely like to do something like this in the future.\n\n2) You can already do this either by changing the category of a card in a cards sub menu (then you can change the stacking to custom). Or you can change the color tag of a card - "},{"attributes":{"link":"https://storage.googleapis.com/topdekt_storage_bucket/edited/changing_tag_color.mp4"},"insert":"see here"},{"insert":". The only thing you currently cannot do is set 2 categories for 1 card. We've gotten quite a lot of feedback on that one and would like to implement multiple categories per card in the future. \n\n3) This is actually a point of contention among us devs :P but now that we have dedicated account settings we'd love to do something like this for specific site actions. It's just a matter of finding the time to do this without totally breaking everything. And by breaking everything I mean adding key listeners everywhere because that could get real messy real fast.\n\n4) Ohhhh yea, we've heard this one a lot. This is something we plan to do, it's just a matter of finding the time to sit down and do it. \n\nThanks again for all these suggestions! And I'd like to apologize for taking so long to get back to you, we try to reply within 24 hours for most comments, but with GoT dropping yesterday we didn't spend much time on our computers.\n\nCheers,\nMichael \n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Hey Michael. Thanks for the response. \n\nNo worries about the late response. I am very glad that you have considered my suggestions, and they are being discussed internally. Hope you enjoyed the GoT episode - I haven't had the opportunity to watch it yet, but I am very much looking forward to it. \n\nHave a great Easter!\n"}]}
