This would be a significant undertaking for us whether we have the UI for creating these cards or just a way to upload them from other sources. We're interested in hearing what form you'd be interested (or not interested!) in seeing custom cards take on Archidekt.\n\nIf this proposed feature is of interest to you, give the thread a thumbs-up and leave your thoughts below! User interest in each feature will help us prioritize in development.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"\tI really like this idea, I really want to make a deck using my own art to play with online, But I understand how it could be difficult to have people manually filter through peoples deck list.\n\tAnd i have read many comments mentioning a NSFW tag which I think is the most viable option. But instead of thinking of it just like a regular deck tag, like budget, and Elves, why not make a slider on the deck creation page that says if your using a deck with custom art and then make a symbol that shows up on people deck image or something. then you can make the NSFW tag on top of that as well.\n\tThen just to be even more safe just make it so that you can't upload custom art for the deck image, only official art.\nIt isnt a fool proof idea but I think more people would appreciate it than not, thank you for your time.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I'm working on a commander deck with a custom commander pair of my pets, so it would be awesome to be able to have custom cards on Archidekt. As for how to do it, you could use an upload png sorta thing, or maybe put a link to a service like imgur or something. If you are worried about users putting explicit stuff in their decks, you can by default make decklists with custom cards private only. plz add i wanna fight with my birds as my commanders\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Absolutely! My friend and I make cards as a sub hobby and we have no way to legally play with them. However, I would l would like a way to create cards in Archidekt itself and not have to go through the difficulties of uploading them from who knows where.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"This would be great. Very interested. I know nsfw was a previously mentioned concern. Not sure the best solution, but maybe something like decks with custom cards have a pop-up before you can open them that says i agree to proceed to this deck which may have nsfw content. That way you don't have to police the cards people upload. Otherwise, I'd also be happy with a simple blank card that i could fill in text boxes. Just enough for reference and prevent the deck from showing errors.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I think this idea would work well and be great for the website, but my thoughts on it are that most people probably won't use it. Custom built decks are fun to make and play, and so having a website able to play test these cards and decks would be great. I could see being able to download custom cards from other websites (like MTG.Design and etc) would still be adding this feature in, but limiting the work needed to get a custom card maker in the website itself. \n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I get not wanting to add custom cards but do you think there is a way to add in the Alchemy cards? There are a number of them that would be really easy to do in paper (obviously with rule zero discussion with your group about it). I don't see how they would be any different than the cards from the mystery booster 2 that was done at MagicCon. \n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I love this idea! In addition to uploading custom cards, I think there should be an \"Alternate Style\" option when selecting prints for a card when deckbuilding. If a followed creator has uploaded custom versions of cards, those should appear first with a browse option to see what other creators have uploaded. Naturally there would need to be filters in place to prevent NSFW or abusive content (much easier said than done, I know) but I feel this would be a cutting edge function for the site and would put Archidekt far and away ahead of any other deck-building site!\n"}]}
