{"ops":[{"insert":"It makes no sense for Commander to be a section in Collection view - it should be in owned/not owned/different printing.\n\nYou cannot drag cards around in this view anyway, and if someone looks at this view it is because they want to check their collection status, and it is very easy to make a mistake, like... For example forgetting to purchase their commander.\n\nIt makes even less sense in CMC view, as it's not labeled at all.\n\nWhy can I even color tag commander if it won't be with my color tags in color tag view?\n\nIf I'm looking at rarity I want it in proper rarity section. Same for the price and salt. I'm not sure if there is a way to see salt level of commander right now.\n\nObviously users would like to know that the card is their commander, so maybe have the commander on the top of appropriate section, or have the commander card have easily distinguishable icon, or different border.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"The team has been mulling this over for a couple of days and we're not sure we agree with your assertation. The problem comes down to the fact that some users use those deck views that you mention as their primary views, and we'd never want someone's commander mixed into the rest of their deck by default. It'd be like someone who defaults to the CMC view saying they want the commander in the creature category when they swap over to a Types view-- then everyone who defaults to Types wouldn't have their commander separated. \n\nI do sympathize with what you're saying. Under certain circumstances, it would be preferable to see your commander mixed in with the appropriate categories. Salt is indeed a little hard to find (double click on a card and refer to the side menu that pops out on the right). However, all of the other data (such as CMC, color tag, and collection status) "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"is"},{"insert":" visible on the card itself. We feel it's less imposing to ask users switching to those views to refer individually refer to a single card in its own category than to ask others who default to those views to search for their commander in stacks of other cards. Simply putting the commander on top of the appropriate category or giving it some other distinguishing feature (as you suggest) would be a bit messy from a UI perspective, nor--again-- do I think it'd be agreeable to the users who default to those views.\n\nI apologize for the disappointing response, but appreciate you reaching out with the suggestion! \n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Thanks for the indepth explaination. If I might suggest one more suggestion - what if we could choose our primary view in deck settings, and there have an option \"treat Commander like a normal card in non-default views\"?\n\nActually now when I'm thinking about it having an option to save default view per deck would be mighty more useful feature than everything about the Commander placement. So even if the Commander thing is full no, please consider the default view. I find myself working with different views depending on the type of deck I am working on, and my methodology, and when I'm going back to the deck after weeks it would be nice to have it in the state of mind I've left it. Also very helpful when you change computer or just refresh the page etc.\n\nSorry about hijaking my own thread.\n"}]}
