Nobody has to worry about dying to combat damage from me. Kharn is like having Coveted Jewel in the command zone. The plan is to share the love and let everyone draw lots of extra cards and play extra lands. I'm happy to take advantage of various attack triggers I can slap on Kharn, but I'm always sure to have pingers ready so he doesn't actually hurt anybody. The real win comes from a few pseudo-combos, like Underworld Breach + Price of Progress a few times, or Pyrohemia + Vicious Shadows while my opponents conveniently have hands full of cards I gave them.\n\nhttps://www.archidekt.com/decks/3372863#Mom_said_it's_my_turn_on_the_Xbox\n"}]}

I wanted a place to play Winter Orb and Static Orb that let me break the symmetry on them (i.e. tapping them before my turn started) and I didn't want to do it with Urza because that's been done to death. When I saw Meria, I knew I had the perfect commander for some serious stax/prison shenanigans and all the zero cost artifacts let you basically play moxen in commander!\n\nIt's definitely a high salt deck and it's never one I'd play without warning the table first, but it's a ton of fun to pilot. The couple times I've played it so far, my table has even enjoyed it because the main win condition is the Painter's Servant/Grindstone combo, which gives people plenty of time to find answers.\n"}]}
