In this build, we're looking to drop some Walls up front, and build a non-threatening board state, while slowing our opponents and looking for the keys: zero damage win-cons. Either by drawing to our keys to victory, \"Gamble\" ing them out (with a bit of spell recursion to boot), or luck of the draw, we're looking to bring out our Pacifist Win Cons.\n\nWith plenty of artifacts in the deck (35 cards with the word \"artifact\" on them), Hellkite Tyrant is a solid option for a zero damage win-con in this deck if we can gather a broad enough board state. That being said, we'd expect opponents to hit us with removal, so of course we've included plenty of counters, interaction and recursion to dodge the onslaught until we can sneak out the win. Hellkite is definitely a backup option, however (as is Deck of Many Things... like a waaaay in the back backup).\n\nBoth Chance Encounter and Darksteel Reactor are the main goals here. Counter based win cons that are bolstered by our Proliferate abilities (which can be copied by our trusty commander, Kurkesh), and of course the Artifact synergy to un-tap, proliferate, and repeat, repeat, repeat. Bring out a few combo pieces, and this game is over before a single drop of blood had to be spilled.\n\nExample Win-Con Scenario: Mid-game, Drop Chance Encounter and go to combat (attack with whatever you have that can attack). When blocks are assigned, drop Aleatory and flip your coin (if you win, GREAT! if you don't, tap your Mirrorpool and try again!). You now have at least 1 counter on Chance Encounter. Now the real game begins. Tap your Contagion Engine for 4 colorless and proliferate x2, you're up to 3 counters! Then pay 1 Red, kick in Kurkesh's ability and do it again, you're at 5 - half way to victory!; Finally, tap Voltaic Key, run Contagion Engine again, for another 4 counters (up to 9!), now you tap Throne of Geth, sack any artifact you like, proliferate again and as long as you can interaction-spell your way to your next upkeep, you've won the game. Congrats!\n"}]}

The idea of playing endless spells and gaining advantage through countless cast triggers is mesmerizing. A normal MTG player automatically resorts to playing some commander that has a color identity that includes red and/or blue (two best spellcasting colors, closely followed by black in third). However, this deck fully exists to oppose the status quo and counter the norm. Green is not the color that players consider to be the defacto spellcaster color, but the exact opposite. The existence of the card and commander Aeve, Progenitor Ooze allows a mono-green spellcasting deck to exist and thrive. Through taking advantage of the spellcasting archetype's most powerful ability, storm, this deck proves to be a powerhouse in its own rite. This deck wishes to chain together multiple mana rocks, mana dorks, and untap effects in order to reach an unforeseen and game-ending storm count.
