Search decks by price

{"ops":[{"insert":"This is something we'd love to do, but it's implementation is problematic. In order to have up-to-date prices for decks during your search, we'd have to dynamically calculate the sum of the prices of all cards in each deck the search could yield. Unfortunately, this isn't something feasible to implement. A possible alternative would be storing a snapshot of each deck's price whenever it's saved, therefore having a price to display/search without actually opening the deck link. The problem with this is that decks that aren't opened and re-saved regularly would end up with horribly outdated prices. A deck made a year ago might have cost $100 at the time might cost $300 now. This sets us up for a pattern of inaccurate data that we're just not comfortable displaying. \n\nI hope we come up with an alternative solution someday, but it certainly isn't on the immediate horizon. I apologize for the disappointing answer, but appreciate you reaching out with the suggestion! \n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"how long does it take to process a price update? could it be done nightly or weekly? with a disclaimer saying the price was correct as of X date?\n\nor perhaps you store the value of a card and it would be easier to update that and then force and deck containing it to update as well?\n"}]}
