List of all Cards in all own Decks

{"ops":[{"insert":"Hey guys,\n\nI was hoping the collection feature would solve my problem, but it sadly did not.\n\nSo what I am looking for is a List of all cards in all own decks (decks preferably selectable/filterable (future: decks in folder, deck status etc; to remove prototype decks))\nThen Mainboard, Sideboard and/or Maybeboard should be selectable.\n\nIn the end, I would love to have a list of all cards in my decks, independent of the edition, showing the number of times it is played, the decks it is played in, the colortag for each deck and maybe the category.\n\nI personally do not care about the edition of the cards and it is quite annoying to manually add multiple numbers of the same card in a list because it is of a different edition. (no offense, haven't seen this anywhere else)\nI understand that others do care about that, so maybe add a checkbox to split/compile different editions of a card.\n\nThe reason behind this is I run a lot of proxies, marked as colortag \"getting\". During and after the construction of the deck I look for the cards I have, mark them as \"have\", then look for the already created proxies, mark them as \"getting\", the rest as \"don't have\" until I create proxies for them.\nEventually I want to replace the proxies with real cards, so I need to buy them. Instead of going through each Deck, I'd like to have a List like that (and to look how often I play Sol Ring... :D)\n\nSo what do you guys think? Am I alone in wanting a feature like this?\nI understand it would be a lot of work, especially with all the Filtering, Custom Color Tags and Categories and maybe compiling the same card of different editions in one pile.\n\n\nThanks for reading!\n\nOn a positive note:\nI really like Archidekt. It is super fast, well-arranged, easy to use and certainly has unique features (adding Cards to Decks from another Deck, haven't seen that anywhere else)\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Thanks for taking the time write out all of your thoughts, it's really cool to us that people enjoy using the site so much that they take the time to write stuff like this out.\n\nAs for the request, as you said it would be quite a bit of work to do something like this in it's entirety. But let's try to break it down to see if we can't try to see how big of lifts these request actually are. \n\nSo (please correct me if I'm wrong here, I'm just trying to get a better feel for what you're asking for) I'm gonna list out a broken down list of what I think would solve some of your issues, then you can tell me whether or not I completely missed the mark.\n\n1) A way to tell collections that you don't care about editions of cards when viewing the collections/ searching for cards. This actually makes a lot of sense to me, because I've noticed this before as well in the search/ card suggestions that if the editions don't match, it doesn't tell you if a card is in the deck. So I think if you're viewing the search (single set only) or suggestions it should tell you whether or not you have this card. That said, this is way easier said than done due to the fact that everything is built on using sets for cards. This was done because we wanted to have the closets to a paper brewing experience and even if a player doesn't care what set it's from, it's still from a set.\n\n1a) Here's the thing, what I just listed above would probably be a fairly large chunk of work, where as allowing you to view your collection edition agnostic would (probably) be a bit easier. That said, I'm not sure that this really solves any of your issues as it'd only be that way for the collection. So it might not really make sense to do this without touching search as well. \n\n2) Some way to view all cards in every deck you own. So here's the thing, I'm not sure if you noticed this as it's pretty easy to miss. But there's a way to add a deck you own to your collection. Which assuming you only do this for decks you want to have a list of cards for should satisfy what you're looking for here (I think). That said, a feature you mentioned is not yet implemented there, that being able to select side/ maybe/ mainboard while adding a deck to a collection. We're gonna do this (in fact as far as everything you mentioned above I think this is the most likely to be done sooner rather than later), but that still doesn't help you with cards being different editions, unless we also implement 1a. \n\n2a) Moving over cards to collections currently doesn't keep color tags/ categories of cards is a good idea. We haven't talked about it at all though, so I'm not sure how hard it would be to implement. That said, I really like this idea, as it creates more free flowing data between decks and collections which would be nice. \n\nI think doing those things above would allow you to tag cards in collections as proxies/ owned cards. In the end this would allow you to easily tell you what you have and what you need by looking at your collection. Let me know your thoughts on all of this, and we'll try to throw some of the smaller things on our short list of things to do if we find the room on that list.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Hello,\n\nthank you for your time. As you said, I quite enjoy this site. I'm writing this feedback because this site ist pretty? new and probably appreciates feedback. I don't expect to see things done exactly as I say or at all, I'm just giving my feedback for things I really would like to have and I can hope. This is actually the first site I uploaded all my decks and I started buidling my decks differently, thanks to this site (made it so much easier).\n\n1) I could work with the collection being able to be edition agnostic (maybe a switch?). The thing is, the collection is not the compiled decklists. Which leads to Point 2).\n2) I actually saw this feature and tried it. Sure, I was missing the select side/maybe/mainboard thing. But for me, not having a connection between deck and collection was a bigger deal. I could add the same deck multiple times to my collection. Sure I could do it only once. But what if I remove and add some cards? I would have to remove and add them to my collection as well. That couldn't/shouldn't be done automatically (synchronising) because the removing of a card from the collection because it is no longer in a deck is not the purpose, right? So doing this manually is a lot of work, and making a mistake without noticing (e.g. forgetting to add/remove a card from the collection) would take probably forever with 30 decks and more brewing.\nBesides, having proxies in my \"collection\" doesn't seem right to me. It could work though, if they are properly marked (by color tag or other means).\n\nSo overall, I could work with the collection if\nit could be made edition agnostic"},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"the cards in the collection are related to the decks (deck, color tag, category)"},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"the cards in a deck automatically synchronise with the cards in the collection (probably unlikely, in consideration of the \"Search only in Collection\" Feature)"},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\nImho, I think it would be the easier and probably the better way to implement a new feature\nEasier: If I'm not wrong the cards have to already be compiled in the DB for the decks, it does not have to be synchronised somewhere else\nBetter: It is not misusing the Collection for what it is.\n\nSorry if it sounds like I know it better, that is certainly not the case. It's just the Software Developer speaking.\n\nOn a side note, searching for cards only in your collection should also somehow display if the card or how many of them are already in a deck.\n(Haven't used this feature outside of testing yet, but I can imagine that I don't want to rip a card out of another deck for a new deck without knowing while brewing)\n\nI hope this helps clarify things a little bit.\n"}]}
