{"ops":[{"insert":"https://archidekt.com/decks/9147587/pain"},{"attributes":{"header":3},"insert":"\n\n"},{"insert":"The goal of the deck is to lock the entire table into a non-deterministic winter orb lock. The deck is meant to grind the game to a halt with winter orb while never guaranteeing a victory as the player can still be pinged out by Mana crypt. To truly see if they win or not is to go through ever single turn... "},{"attributes":{"header":3},"insert":"\n\n\n"},{"insert":"The way to setup the goal is to get Mana crypt, Krark's Thumb, Ghirapur Aether Grid and winter orb on the board. The player is to spend 20+ turns flipping coins to see if mana crypt will deal damage or not then using each set of turn passes to ping opponents with Ghirapur Aether Grid and holding up counter spells. There are several removal spells to ensure you can remove opponents mana rocks or enchantments. "},{"attributes":{"header":3},"insert":"\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"https://archidekt.com/decks/9087420/commander_never_heard_of_her\n\nThis deck has three main goals, all dedicated towards making people hate me as much as humanly possible.\n\nTo deny any and all commander play through use of cards such as Darksteel Mutation, Imprisoned in the Moon, and Drannith Magistrate."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"To prevent people from killing me/ending the game by any means possible."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"To only cause the end of the game to come about through a rage quit OR by slowly dealing 1 commander damage to each opponent over the course of the game until everybody else has died to Zur commander damage."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\nThe icing on the cake is that all of this is accomplished while having the only non-land cards be enchantments that Zur can fetch directly from the deck with his trigger, the only exceptions being Zur himself and Drannith Magistrate. Also, all cards in this deck lack any way of accelerating the end of the game. Even if one were to try their hardest, the only way for anyone who plays this deck to end the game is through beating people down one commander damage at a time (or with a Drannith Magistrate that will have no form of evasion).\n\nThis deck is a true slog for any and all players involved. The only players who will derive any joy from playing this deck are those who relish in the pain and suffering of others. If you are like myself and have ADHD, NEVER try to play this deck, it will not end well.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"When I read the prompt for this month, I knew it was time to finally properly brew a USA themed deck. "},{"attributes":{"link":"https://www.archidekt.com/decks/9090534/this_is_america"},"insert":"This is America"},{"insert":" is a deck focused on effectively saying \"do you pay the __\" every time your opponents do any game action. Cast a spell, draw a card, attack, block, whatever it is I'm gonna make you pay something. While the deck focuses on taxing opponents, there are also subthemes of treasure and land destruction to emphasize America's history of capitalism, colonization, and destroying the environment. For the commander, I originally thought I would use Akim and have a larger focus on birds to represent the Bald Eagle, but Numot, the Devastator just seemed so much more annoying. However, Gwaihir, Greatest of Eagles is still included for the flavor. The deck is rounded out by a few stax pieces and random cards with the word \"tax\" in them. Pretty much every card has some reference to America whether it be by mechanic or flavor; even the basics are from New Capenna. I also made sure to include at least one card with \"Amass\" so the army could be represented. Just like America, you'll either tax your opponents to death and win with commander damage, or ruin everyone's day with relentless politicking. It truly is the American dream.\n"}]}
