{"ops":[{"insert":"Secret commanders are on of my favorite aspects of the game! \n\nWhen I see the card [[Omarthis, Ghostfire Initiate]], I immediately thought how it creates a near-infinite loop with itself, if only cloning it was possible. Then we want it to die, so we can get the massive army of 2/2s I first started by looking for cards that could clone it, such as [[spark double]] and [[double major]]. However, there aren't nearly enough of these to actually be consistent, and these are the only two that prevent legends rule from eating each other. \n\n[[Cadric, Soul Kindler]] allows you to copy the Omarthis, but as a counterless copy (which unfortunately will die immediately without setup). This means we have to set up a few things: 1. Some kind of anthem to allow for the clone to stay alive. 2. a way to put a counter on one of the Omarthis' to start the combo. 3. A way to find omarthis in the first place. 4. A sacrifice outlet, if possible (although the Cadric clone will self-destruct at the end of turn anyway), so we can immediately win after triggering Omarthis. 5. A haste outlet, in conjunction with the Sac outlet. \n\nAfter assembling these together, it's a very fun deck to play though. You spend the first few turns setting things up, leaving your opponents completely confused at the shenanigans you're putting out (Why does he have one creature, a +1/+1 counter placer, and an anthem out? What is he even doing?), until poof, they're being overwhelmed by about 80 2/2s. Given aggressive mulligans to find a tutor option, the deck wins around turn 7-8 without interaction.\n\nHave fun storming the castle! \n\nEdit: oops, Forgot the decklist: https://archidekt.com/decks/9251113/secret_commander_1_cadric_omarthis\n"}]}

Vega was chosen as the commander as it naturally synergizes with Shared Fate (and a few other cards in the deck) to turn every spell you \"draw\" into a cantrip. The extra any-color lands are there to help speed along your ability to play your opponent's cards, and Fact or Fiction/Epiphany at the Drownyard can help you still find more cards from your own deck even while Shared Fate is going strong. Well, the deck is suited up with a fog-bank (literally!) and several interaction pieces along with some combat manipulation. Sundial of the Infinite can help force people's hands on activating Xantcha or else they get burnt. Helix Pinacle serving as an outlet (besides Lavaclaw Reeches) to avoid manaburn ourselves and provide alt. win condition, Umbral Mantle allowing to give everyone 3 mana at cost of a single one on our end, and Meren of Clan Nel Toth + Spore Frog doublet ensuring even longer life for the Sleeper Queen pilot. \n\nThanks a lot for checking the deck out and happy brewing!\n"}]}
