Plagon enables big creature finishers like 8-toughness double strike Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, or 5-toughness double strike lifelink Drogskol Reaver. The excessive card draw theme enables Homunculus Horde as an additional finisher. \n\nSome cute plays are using Kykar, Zephyr Awakener to flicker and trigger Plagon multiple times, or to bounce Plagon back to your hand with Into the Roil/Run Ashore.\n"}]}

Setting us apart from the normal elf ball deck, however, is a double-digit package of vehicles that we'll be using to enable Dionus' ability. Crewing vehicles no longer forces a drawback with our commander out and gives us an outlet to untap elves and give them counters with its ability. We're focusing on mana dork ramp, specifically elven dorks for our commander, and take advantage of being able to tap them twice to ramp out bigger vehicles and X spells. And if we're able to find it, Maskwood Nexus turns all our vehicles into Elves as well once they've been crewed so they, too, can enjoy our commander's generosity. We've also set ourselves up with a good amount of power-based draw effects in order to keep refilling our hand with gas. And while not a primary focus of the deck, we do have a small amount of token generation as well to get more elves out and continue crewing vehicles. \n\nQuick finishes include: Tyvar, the Pummeler; Finale of Devestation; and the obligatory Craterhoof Behemoth. Allosaurus Shepherd can also sneak in wins by turning our puny elves into 5/5 Dinos, usually with multiple counters on them. \n\nWhile Elf balls are strong, they can be fairly one-dimentional. Dionus, Elvish Archdruid enables a new way to play this strategy in an uncommon commander and it's rather refreshing.\n"}]}
