The goal is to make things die so we can find the bugs that have been hidden within our opponent's cards with Fumulus, the Infestation. I wanted this deck to be easy to understand, straight forward, and (I think it is) fun deck to play. Of the possible commanders to choose from I was intrigued by Braulios of Pheres Band. I liked the idea for a mono-green deck with fast ramp with landfall and land synergy in the deck. However, the foundational mechanic I thought could work well with this commander (and to give it my own little flavor) was Commander Damage. This deck central idea is to ramp, build Braulios' power, give different protection and trample, and then damage to victory with commander damage. The deck itself may still need some tweaking to be better synergistic, but I feel like this deck stands as a fun deck to play. \n\nIs this deck a little janky? I think so \nDoes the deck do something that is kind of unexpected from this commander? I think so \nDoes it focus on one of Commander's foundational mechanic? I have also mostly tried to avoid high salt cards like Dictate of Erebos.\n\nThe deck is a middling power level (CommanderSalt.com says 5.7/10, for what it's worth). It could be way boosted by including infinites, extremely efficient cards like Ashnod's/Phyrexian Altar or leaning into Zulaport Cutthroat-esque drain but I found in my testing that such cards promote extremely drawn out turns of sacrificing and resummoning ozox and resolving all the triggers which was obnoxious for both me and my opponents. Once this is in play (tutored as best as mono-red can) or through card draw, the deck enters phase two, where it tries to leverage its combat cantrips, the heroic ability, and the combination of the Reaver Cleaver's treasure generation with double strike to set up a Storm win, either going tall (flashback a bunch of combat tricks and swing with Cleon), going wide (Stormsplitter, or Empty the Warrens), Aetherflux Reservoir, or Crackling Spellslinger and a burn spell. I am really bad at estimating power level, so I'll call it a janky 7. \n"}]}
