Resulting in feeling like a big bloody battle on the ground rather than any sort of intelligent contest between planeswalkers.\n\nThe hope is to play a quick game with consistent attacking bringing every down. Lots of goad effects and effects to make sure creatures are turning sideways every turn.I included fellas like Alexios and Slicer so even people without the most creatures have something to swing. The interaction package is mostly comprised of \"no you\" deflecting swat like effects.\n\nBonus points for thematically spreading your blood tokens around your playmat.\n"}]}

But it shouldn't just be us sacrificing our creatures that isn't nearly enough value! These cards allow all of our Vampires to become Insects allowing them to benefit from our commanders ability to drain on attack, making even the beefiest of boards no match for our hordes. \n\nOnce we get set up in order to generate value we have cards like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Cordial Vampire"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Drana, Liberator of Malakir"}},{"insert":", and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Indulgent Aristocrat"}},{"insert":" to sacrifice some of our dying attackers into value and insects if we have our commander out.\n\nSince we're in mono black unfortunately we have to miss out on almost all kinds of stack interaction however "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Imp's Mischief"}},{"insert":" can save the day and the fated mono black counter spell in "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Withering Boon"}},{"insert":". Allow us to not be a total slouch and sometimes even catch opponents off guard. In addition to this we have "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Sudden Spoiling"}},{"insert":" to halt combo decks or to act as a "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Fog"}},{"insert":" to save us from tight spots.\n\nI've run the deck a few times online in testing to some pretty good results and I definitely recommend giving it a try if it piques your interest. While being a little safe on theme at times I still must say naming Insects as "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Conspiracy"}},{"insert":" comes down always gets a great table reaction.\n"}]}

The deck uses lots of auras and combat tricks to both pump Cleon up for big damage and draw cards off her triggered ability, theoretically trying to start knocking out players around turns 5 and 6.\n\nThe cost restriction brings down the power level quite a bit, especially in regards to evasion, since Cleon doesn't naturally have trample. To get around this several cards like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Cartouche of Zeal"}},{"insert":" and it's functional reprints can turn off a scary blocker and several of our combat tricks give menace or trample. Protection at this budget in mono red pretty much doesn't exist so if Cleon gets killed more than once it's pretty much over though.\n"}]}

One convoluted way to infinimill our opponents! With Ill Braces equipped to one of our untappers, each loop of untapping the other untapper, we net an untap targeting Neerdiv or whatever else we have.\n\nBesides the commander, this deck is roughly a mere $40.\n"}]}

The focus on this deck is to put as many snakes on the board as you can, give them deathtouch if they don't already have it, and then hit your opponents to cut their life total in half. \n\nWhile building this deck, I asked myself what would a PreCon look like for this commander. As such, i made sure no card costed more than $30 and stayed under a $220 budged.\n\nThere are 2 cards that speed up the idea of this deck, those being the Planeswalker \"Vraska, Golgari Queen\" and \"Wound Reflection\". These Cards allow the Pilot of this deck to instantly hit for lethal if they activate Aphilias final ability while thier effects are in play.\n\nhttps://archidekt.com/decks/9964526/aphelias_fangs\n"}]}
