{"ops":[{"insert":"First of all, of course, it has to be said that this \"Bracket 1\" deck leaves us without any morale. You don't pack this as a low power deck in your beloved Commander round. Technically it is a Bracket 1 Deck but I couldn't resist being a bit shameless. \n\nWhere you can give me credit for my generosity is with the lands, they're cheeky for the bracket. But they could be even meaner.\n\nThe gimmick is to not play creatures over 2 power and show your opponent that the little things are the more dangerous threats ;). On the way there, death and resurrection is our best friend and every creature on the Board works toward it. Fitting for Orzhov^^\n\nThe rest can be skipped: \n\nThe deck tries to get creatures into the graveyard quickly to avoid the missing tutors via reanimation, our combo or finishing potential comes from sacrificing creatures and looping over and over again. If I don't show morale, I certainly don't stop at my own creatures, everything for the victory of the small ones. It doesn't matter who else gets something out of it, the greater mean makes the Path, Orzhov! Because we're limited in our choice of cards, we always need enough mana, so the \"Bracket 1\" golden standard comes mixed with a portion of sacrifice, to Ramp straight to the pile of death boddies. In my opinion there is no 2 card infinited combo and no instant game finisher loops. What is clear is that you quickly get your opponent into one-shot range. {"ops":[{"insert":"I love making Commander decks with older/obscure Legendary Creatures. I came across \"Greel, Mind Raker\" during a random internet dive, and immediately fell in love with the card art. Brom is such an amazing artist, and his work with mtg cards is super underrated, in my opinion. So, I built this deck to shine a spotlight on this super cool card. On the surface, people will assume it's going to be a cutthroat discard deck. However, I have worked in a lot of self-discard and cycling effects, so that thus deck doesn't feel too salty at game-tables. There is also group card draw mixed in too, which adds confusion to my deck's end goal. I consider it a \"Group Discard\" deck, with a more passive approach to the self-serving nature of mono-black. More than anything, it's theme is about subversion. It's easy to judge a deck by it's Commander, but this deck will keep you guessing. I really had a blast building this deck, and hope people enjoy itš\n\nhttps://archidekt.com/decks/11714192/greel_group_discard\n\n"}]}
