Swindler's Scheme

Whenever an opponent casts a spell from their hand, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it shares a card type with that spell, counter that spell and that opponent may cast the revealed card without paying its mana cost.

Land's Edge

Discard a card: If the discarded card was a land card, Land's Edge deals 2 damage to target player or planeswalker. Any player may activate this ability.

Teferi's Realm

At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player chooses artifact, creature, land, or non-Aura enchantment. All nontoken permanents of that type phase out. (While they're phased out, they're treated as though they don't exist. Each one phases in before its controller untaps during their next untap step.)

Raging River

Whenever one or more creatures you control attack, each defending player divides all creatures without flying they control into a "left" pile and a "right" pile. Then, for each attacking creature you control, choose "left" or "right." That creature can't be blocked this combat except by creatures with flying and creatures in a pile with the chosen label.

Caverns of Despair

No more than two creatures can attack each combat.
No more than two creatures can block each combat.

Revelation

Elkin Lair

At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player exiles a card at random from their hand. The player may play that card this turn. At the beginning of the next end step, if the player hasn't played the card, they put it into their graveyard.

Tidal Flats

{U}{U}: For each attacking creature without flying, its controller may pay {1}. If that player doesn't, creatures you control blocking that creature gain first strike until end of turn.

Pygmy Hippo

Whenever Pygmy Hippo attacks and isn't blocked, you may have defending player activate a mana ability of each land they control and lose all unspent mana. If you do, Pygmy Hippo assigns no combat damage this turn and at the beginning of your next main phase this turn, you add an amount of {C} equal to the amount of mana that player lost this way.

Defensive Formation

Rather than the attacking player, you assign the combat damage of each creature attacking you. You can divide that creature's combat damage as you choose among any of the creatures blocking it.

Winter's Chill

Cast this spell only during combat before blockers are declared.
X can't be greater than the number of snow lands you control.
Choose X target attacking creatures. For each of those creatures, its controller may pay {1} or {2}. If that player doesn't, destroy that creature at end of combat. If that player pays only {1}, prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to and dealt by that creature this combat.

Awesome Presence

Enchant creature
Enchanted creature can't be blocked unless defending player pays {3} for each creature they control that's blocking it.

Siren's Call

Cast this spell only during an opponent's turn, before attackers are declared.
Creatures the active player controls attack this turn if able.
At the beginning of the next end step, destroy all non-Wall creatures that player controls that didn't attack this turn. Ignore this effect for each creature the player didn't control continuously since the beginning of the turn.

Malignant Growth

Cumulative upkeep {1} (At the beginning of your upkeep, put an age counter on this permanent, then sacrifice it unless you pay its upkeep cost for each age counter on it.)
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a growth counter on Malignant Growth.
At the beginning of each opponent's draw step, that player draws an additional card for each growth counter on Malignant Growth, then Malignant Growth deals damage to the player equal to the number of cards they drew this way.

Sands of Time

Each player skips their untap step.
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player simultaneously untaps each tapped artifact, creature, and land they control and taps each untapped artifact, creature, and land they control.

Tariff

Each player sacrifices the creature they control with the highest mana value unless they pay that creature's mana cost. If two or more creatures a player controls are tied for highest, that player chooses one.

Liege of the Hollows

When Liege of the Hollows dies, each player may pay any amount of mana. Then each player creates a number of 1/1 green Squirrel creature tokens equal to the amount of mana they paid this way.

Game of Chaos

Flip a coin. If you win the flip, you gain 1 life and target opponent loses 1 life, and you decide whether to flip again. If you lose the flip, you lose 1 life and that opponent gains 1 life, and that player decides whether to flip again. Double the life stakes with each flip.

Infinite Hourglass

At the beginning of your upkeep, put a time counter on Infinite Hourglass.
All creatures get +1/+0 for each time counter on Infinite Hourglass.
{3}: Remove a time counter from Infinite Hourglass. Any player may activate this ability but only during any upkeep step.

Angel's Trumpet

All creatures have vigilance.
At the beginning of each player's end step, tap all untapped creatures that player controls that didn't attack this turn. Angel's Trumpet deals damage to the player equal to the number of creatures tapped this way.

Mana Cache

At the beginning of each player's end step, put a charge counter on Mana Cache for each untapped land that player controls.
Remove a charge counter from Mana Cache: Add {C}. Any player may activate this ability but only during their turn before the end step.

Mages' Contest

You and target spell's controller bid life. You start the bidding with a bid of 1. In turn order, each player may top the high bid. The bidding ends if the high bid stands. The high bidder loses life equal to the high bid. If you win the bidding, counter that spell.

Invasion Plans

All creatures block each combat if able.
The attacking player chooses how each creature blocks each combat.

Clear the Land

Each player reveals the top five cards of their library, puts all land cards revealed this way onto the battlefield tapped, and exiles the rest.

Oracle en-Vec

{T}: Target opponent chooses any number of creatures they control. During that player's next turn, the chosen creatures attack if able, and other creatures can't attack. At the beginning of that turn's end step, destroy each of the chosen creatures that didn't attack this turn. Activate only during your turn.

Noetic Scales

At the beginning of each player's upkeep, return to its owner's hand each creature that player controls with power greater than the number of cards in their hand.

Stronghold Gambit

Each player chooses a card in their hand. Then each player reveals their chosen card. The owner of each creature card revealed this way with the lowest mana value puts it onto the battlefield.

Infernal Genesis

At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player mills a card. Then they create X 1/1 black Minion creature tokens, where X is the milled card's mana value.

Each player loses a third of their life, then discards a third of the cards in their hand, then sacrifices a third of the creatures they control, then sacrifices a third of the lands they control. Round up each time.

Grave Consequences

Each player may exile any number of cards from their graveyard. Then each player loses 1 life for each card in their graveyard.
Draw a card.

Words of Wind

{1}: The next time you would draw a card this turn, each player returns a permanent they control to its owner's hand instead.

Risky Move

At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player gains control of Risky Move.
When you gain control of Risky Move from another player, choose a creature you control and an opponent. Flip a coin. If you lose the flip, that opponent gains control of that creature.

Bond of Agony

As an additional cost to cast this spell, pay X life.
Each other player loses X life.

Curse of the Cabal

Target player sacrifices half the permanents they control, rounded down.
Suspend 2—{2}{B}{B} (Rather than cast this card from your hand, you may pay {2}{B}{B} and exile it with two time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter. When the last is removed, you may cast it without paying its mana cost.)
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, if Curse of the Cabal is suspended, that player may sacrifice a permanent. If the player does, put two time counters on Curse of the Cabal.

Roiling Horror

Roiling Horror's power and toughness are each equal to your life total minus the life total of an opponent with the most life.
Suspend X—{X}{B}{B}{B}. X can't be 0. (Rather than cast this card from your hand, you may pay {X}{B}{B}{B} and exile it with X time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter. When the last is removed, you may cast it without paying its mana cost. It has haste.)
Whenever a time counter is removed from Roiling Horror while it's exiled, target player loses 1 life and you gain 1 life.

Helm of Obedience

{X}, {T}: Target opponent mills a card, then repeats this process until a creature card or X cards have been put into their graveyard this way, whichever comes first. If one or more creature cards were put into that graveyard this way, sacrifice Helm of Obedience and put one of them onto the battlefield under your control. X can't be 0.

Aura swap {2}{U} ({2}{U}: Exchange this Aura with an Aura card in your hand.)

Coffin Queen

You may choose not to untap Coffin Queen during your untap step.
{2}{B}, {T}: Put target creature card from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control. When Coffin Queen becomes untapped or you lose control of Coffin Queen, exile that creature.

Grim Feast

At the beginning of your upkeep, Grim Feast deals 1 damage to you.
Whenever a creature is put into an opponent's graveyard from the battlefield, you gain life equal to its toughness.

Avenging Druid

Whenever Avenging Druid deals damage to an opponent, you may reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a land card. If you do, put that card onto the battlefield and put all other cards revealed this way into your graveyard.
