Have you ever gone to a MagicCon and wondered, \"Where are all the MTG grandmas?!\" Well never fear, Aunt May has gathered all the grannies in MTG together for a nice cup of tea in this commander precon deck.\n\nThis white life gain/good stuff deck features characters, art, and items that would make any grandmother want to sit down at your kitchen table and learn how to play a nice game of commander. Also a wide assortment of plains were selected to give Wizards a variety of choices that would appeal to this older demographic.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"The Goal with this \"lost pre-con\" was to design a Jund deck for Eddie Brock, that felt powered and theme'd in a way I felt WOTC would have it. A lot of the non Spiderman cards in this deck could be reprinted into a Spiderman flavor of the art (or like the FF cards that were just renamed). It has a decent amount of 1 cost creatures to bring back with Eddie, and the rest of the focus is Symbiote/Knull theme'd with a bit of classic Spiderman Villain. The deck has plenty for a user to upgrade and make their own, while still being a fun, jund deck, that shouldn't get crushed right out of the box (like most jund precons). It'll also teach new players the power behind things like removal and card draw, so when they make their own decks they don't ignore it, It is also not incredibly complicated, so it would be great for a lot of players to unbox and get started with fun deck. that is powerful and easy to learn, without being over tuned, and keeps theme/flavor first which is something I think universes beyond players enjoy.. \n\nEnjoy! \n"}]}

Jackals All The Way Down

{"ops":[{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"How many BOPs???"},{"insert":"\n\nThis deck is all about clones, clones and more clones.\n\nWe are looking to make as many non-legendary copies of Jackal as possible using the various mana valued clone creatures that feature in the deck. We can then use these Jackal clones to make multiple copies of our creatures as they are cast either creating big mana to get us to our finishers faster or to overwhelm our opponents with our board presence. We also have a number of XCMC creatures to help us hit the mana value = Jackal’s power at any given point without relying on having the exact mana value creature in hand.\n\nAs any copies of Jackal we create will enter as 1/1s we are using multiple ways of returning our own lower mana value creatures to our hand to cast them again and again, including a number of bounce spells and creatures who can bounce our board in exchange for draw. We can also use our bounce spells on our opponents threats to keep them at bay.\n\nAn ideal start to the game would be a turn two Jackal with a Birds of Paradise and a Dour Port Mage on turn three. This would give us two BOPs and two Dour Port Mages going into turn 4 with Jackal on 3 power. We start turn 4 (after our land drop) with 6 mana and a reliable source of draw.\n\nWe can then hopefully cast a 3CMC clone (or a Mocking Bird). When we cast the clone a non-legendary token copy of the clone will be created which will enter first -  this can create a copy of Jackal, then when the original clone enters it can enter as a copy of the non-legendary version of Jackal. We can use then use our non-token Dour Port Mage to bounce the non-token BOP to hand (drawing 2) and the token Dour Port Mage to bounce the non-token Dour Port Mage (drawing 1) so that we can cast them both again which will pump our two token-copy Jackals all over again!\n\nThis is a bit of magic dream land but we’d end up here with 6 BOPs, 6 Dour Port Mages, 3 Jackals and 3 new cards in hand! From there we can already start thinking about finishers including Craterhoof with 15 creatures in play.\n\nWe have a number of ways of making sure that the mana value = Jackal’s power triggered effect is always attainable including Moxite Refinery, Bioshift, O'aka, Traveling Merchant and Zameck Guildmage (which doubles as a handy mana sink for all these dorks) which all allow us to move or remove counters from one Jackal to another making sure we always have the right power compared to the creatures we want to cast as well as the aforementioned XCMC creatures that let us choose the mana value as they are added to the stack and Jackal’s ability is triggered.\n\nOther notable mentions in this deck are Vesuvian Deplomacy which pairs nicely with our bounce suite making us more non-legendary token-copies as well as Arbor Elf when paired with the land enchantments Wild Growth and Utopia Sprawl (especially when we have 6 Arbor Elves in play!) Cunning Evasion allows us to safely attack with our non-token creatures as we want them doing damage or otherwise being returned back to our hand for future castings.\n\nThis deck is pretty silly, but a tonne of fun, with some big room for future upgrades,  including mana base improvements, more reliable draw and the addition of more expensive clones like Sakashima of a Thousand Faces or clone enablers like Orvar, the All Form along with the infinite mana combos of Peregrine Drake, Cloud of Faeries and the likes of Deadeye Navigator etc.\n\nHave fun cloning!\n\nBearycrunch\n"}]}

Since I cannot afford the game anymore (been playing since I was 11 and just finished university), I proxy the cards myself. So there's no budget restriction, especially for lands (just want a good mana base). Hope you enjoy the deck list!\n\nI also created my own categories to better see how many cards I have for each effect (wrath, draw, blink, blink target, etc.) so I highly suggest filtering the deck by \"Categories (multiple)\".\n"}]}

[Spiderman Precon] Iron Spider, Counting on Parker

{"ops":[{"insert":"This deck blends token generators that interact with +1/+1 counters, along with ways to convert those counters into pressure. The strategy can be thought of in three stages:\n 1: Early Game – Deploy cheap creatures that naturally grow or generate counters.\n 2: Mid Game – Hold up mana to move or multiply counters, or use utility lands to stay flexible.\n 3: Late Game – Convert counters into card advantage, or protect your board by transferring them onto vehicles for a big swing after a sweeper.\nThe manabase emphasizes utility lands, so even when facing the most dreaded words a colorless player can hear:\n- “I tap six white for…” from a white deck\n- “I tap five to overload…” from a red deck\nYou still have ways to keep playing. The game isn't over! Thanks to Warping Wall there is one additional answer to those brutal sweepers.\nThe deck also includes strong recursion, ensuring your key pieces will return after removal.\nAnd if you ever find yourself with a wide board but no counters, don’t worry—Graaz has you covered!\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Build massive creatures along side an ever growing graveyard and beat down your opponents with cards from your hand or from the yard! This recursive mono black deck Is pieced together from all over magic's history of cards that extract value from graveyard high-jinx . I think it can be fun to manipulate your library in this way as it feels like an interesting spin on card advantage, not to mention it's always fun to cheat out bombs from the grave. Whether it is discard or sacrificing or surveying, the graveyard will stay stocked and and a healthy amount of recursions will help it stay accessible. Since this deck wants to throw one big creature at opponents instead of going wide I added a healthy dose of black removal to hopefully keep board states clean, but also some good token generation to keep our defenses steady while also keeping sac outlets fulfilled. We finally found a home for the Soul Stone ! Who would've thought !! ( the soul stones high price tag is the reason this deck isn't within that 150-200 dollar budget so sorry about that when I started it was only listed at like 25 bucks) Love building decks with a pre-con mindset, thanks for the opportunity to stretch some creative muscles \n"}]}

Nice To Know We're Not Alone - SP//dr, Piloted by Peni

After losing her superhero father in an explosion, nine-year-old genius Peni Parker was the only person able to pilot his mech suit. A bite from the radioactive spider within the suit created a psychic link with Peni, and she became New York's protector. Now a teenager, Peni fights crime as SP//dr, which I can only assume is pronounced just like it's spelled.\n\nI really like this character. Although she still has her aunt and uncle, she grew up isolated, her only real connection with the spider in her suit. When she learns of the Spider-Verse, Peni is thrilled, and her bravery and adaptability prove her to be a fierce teammate and a reliable ally. Joining her fellow Spider-people ends her isolation and she thrives, supporting her new alternate-universe friends as much with her cheerful, bubbly optimism as with her technical skills and combat prowess.\n\nThat's why Peni cares about all our of modified creatures. While it might be easier to build this as a counters deck, I wanted our creatures to feel Peni's gregarious encouragement in the form of auras. Between pump and protection, evasion and duplication, Peni and her peeps become untouchable heroes that swing in to score us cards every time they hit.
