{"ops":[{"insert":"I have always wanted to build a deck that was less focused on a specific creature Tribal, and more focused on having as many Tribes as possible. I like to call it \"Tribal Tribal\". \n\nThis WUBRG Tribal Tribal deck is all about gaining value from as many spells that share a creature type as possible. To do that, this deck is loaded with Changelings. With Ur-Dragon in the Command Zone, all changeling spells are automatically discounted, making it easy to get that sweet value from spells that care about having large numbers of a specific creature type. \n\nTo really emphasize the first instance of \"Tribal\" in the \"Tribal Tribal\" name, within the 99, there are 5 \"Lieutenants\" that will further strengthen the changelings you play and inform how the deck plays each game, though they all lean fairly towards an aggressive, beat-face style. Because the deck is chockful of changelings, each Lieutenant will effect your entire board state. \n\nAnd instead of simply letting the \"tribal\"ness end there, each non-ramp, non-creature spell in you would cast requires you to choose a creature type, and while you could squeeze a little more value out of those spells by choosing a creature type of one of the Lieutenants, the spirit of the deck is to choose as many different creature types as you can, since the only non-Changeling creatures in the entire deck are the commander, and his 5 Lieutenants.\n\nA fun addition to the deck, and a possible 6th Lieutenant, is Volo, Itinerant Scholar. There are two reasons I opted to leave him on the Maybeboard. First, he isn't WUBRG like the other 5, and second, he doesn't lend any strength to combat on his own, while the other 5 really incentivize you to beat face with your changelings. Even with that said, it is only my personal preference, and I absolutely understand why someone would want to include him, with the absolute monster value he would offer this deck.\n"}]}

On the most basic level it's a Goad / Forced Combat deck, but it comes at this from the extra angle of incentivizing your opponents to attack each other while you hide behind pillow fort pieces.\n\nFirst, you need to give your opponents creatures to attack with. "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Forbidden Orchard"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Tempt with Vengeance"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Tempt with Bunnies"}},{"insert":", and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Alliance of Arms"}},{"insert":" all fill up your opponents' boards, while "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Combat Calligrapher"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Curse of Disturbance"}},{"insert":", and similar cards reward their attacks with more creatures!\n\nNext, you need your "},{"attributes":{"strike":true},"insert":"puppets"},{"insert":" opponents to actually attack. You can do this through old-fashioned goading, sure - and there are plenty of options in the deck for that - but even more fun is to use Isshin's ability to double up their attack triggers. "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Duelist's Heritage"}},{"insert":" can give two creatures double strike, "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Firemane Commando"}},{"insert":" draws them two cards while disincentivizing them from attacking you, and my personal favourite "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Death Kiss"}},{"insert":" "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"quadruples"},{"insert":" a creature's power whenever it attacks someone else. "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Gisela, Blade of Goldnight"}},{"insert":" doesn't benefit from Isshin but does reward opponents for attacking each other while punishing them for attacking you.\n\nSo what do you get out of all of this? Excellent question! The curses in the deck give you doubled resources of your own, "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Breena, the Demagogue"}},{"insert":" buffs your board,"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Avatar Roku, Firebender"}},{"insert":" gives you 12 red mana that you can spend to buff your opponent's creatures (when they attack someone else, of course), "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Argent Dais"}},{"insert":" can either remove things or exile your own tokens to draw you cards, and so on.\n\nAnd finally, of course, your opponents need to know not to mess with you. There's the usual pillow fort and rattlesnake pieces such as "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Ghostly Prison"}},{"insert":" and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Marchesa's Decree"}},{"insert":", as well as good old "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Inkshield"}},{"insert":".
