Rasputin’s Dream Machine
Created by: CNotee
4 mins
{"ops":[{"insert":"This deck does so many cool things, but the main thing is that Rasputin Dreamweaver turns dreams into a machine.\n\nInstead of taking an older commander and building the most expected version of it, this deck uses Rasputin Dreamweaver as the centerpiece of a strange counter-conversion engine. Rasputin enters with seven dream counters, and the deck treats those counters like magical fuel that can be blinked, moved, multiplied, and transformed into charge counters for a collection of weird artifacts. The theme is part dream mage, part cursed clock tower, part mad scientist lab. Cards like Power Conduit, Resourceful Defense, The Ozolith, and proliferate effects help turn Rasputin’s dream counters into progress on cards like Darksteel Reactor, Magistrate’s Scepter, Lux Cannon, and The Millennium Calendar. The goal is not to win through a normal Azorius control plan. The goal is to make Rasputin power a dream-fueled doomsday machine until time itself becomes the win condition. What makes the deck stand out is that Rasputin is actively part of the strategy and theme. Every blink effect feels like recharging the battery. Every counter movement feels like transferring dream energy into another strange invention. Every charge counter makes the table wonder which machine is about to go off first. The deck can win through Darksteel Reactor, The Millennium Calendar, repeated extra turns with Magistrate’s Scepter, or by controlling the board with a charged-up Lux Cannon. But the real appeal is how theatrical it feels. An ancient dreamweaver wakes up, his dreams are harvested, the machines begin ticking, and eventually the whole table realizes the clock has been counting down the entire time.\n"}]}

Sekki, the Green Controller - Deck Building Competition, June 2026
Created by: CastleintheSky

{"ops":[{"insert":"The commander for this deck is "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Sekki, Seasons' Guide"}},{"insert":" from Saviors of Kamigawa. \n\nThe core idea behind the deck is to use Sekki's damage trigger by using fight spells to fight with other opponent's creatures to create Spirit Tokens. The deck operates with the balance of fast ramp, +1/+1 counter support, and plethora of instant speed fight spells and abilities. It is an odd approach of mono-green creature control deck. The way to finish the game with this deck is using some overrun effects with Sandstorm Salvager, pathbreaker Ibex, and (good old fashion) Craterhoof Behemoth. \n\nI tired to make sure to include cards that will allow me to refill the +1/+1 counters on Sekki in the deck, such as Ouroboroid, Fight Rigging, Vision of Dominance (because of Sekki's high CMC the flashback cost is cheaper than its original cost), Forgotten Ancient, Rite of Passage, and Innkeeper's Talent. \n\n\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":{"card-link":"Doran, the Siege Tower"}},{"insert":" Probably not the most original idea but I thought Doran would be fun to craft with. This deck is kind of a go tall strategy but with toughness instead. There's a lot of similar effects to Doran's to deal with him or the other sources getting removed. I also tried to add in cards that would put sufficient pressure on the opponent. Giving things haste, deathtouch, removing defender, allowing extra blocks to name a few. I think it takes a pretty simple commander and adds a lot of depth into what it can be and do with all the new cards that support toughness builds along with newer tee folk and adding a little tribal sub flavoring into the mix. Tried to keep the deck hovering around the middle of the bracket range as well since that's where I most enjoy playing. Hope y'all liked what i cooked up😁\n"}]}

Intet Dragonstorm
Created by: jfalex

{"ops":[{"insert":"My deck is a dragon deck under Intet the Dreamer, originally released as part of the Planar Chaos edition in February 2007. She's a time shifted Primeval Dragon in Temur colors, and a 6CMC 6/6 flyer by stats. I like dragons.\n\nWhen Intet connects, she may cast a free spell from the top of my library, so her main gameplan is topdeck manipulation with Brainstorm and Mystical Tutor effects. I included a healthy amount of these. My primary wincon is... (drumroll)... DRAGONSTORM!\n\nWith Intet's ability, I attempt to cast Dragonstorm with a storm count of four, allowing me to tutor four dragons from my library onto the battlefield. These will be Miirym, Scourge of Valkas, Twinflame Tyrant and Ureni of the Unwritten, immediately burning the table to death if uninterrupted. A storm count of three will still kill at least one player, maybe two.\n\nIf I happen to accidentally draw some of my primary Dragonstorm targets, I have to adjust. I could hardcast them, and I may choose other targets for Dragonstorm, maybe Lathliss or Terror of the Peaks. If Dragonstorm ends up in my graveyard somehow, I can cast it with Mizzix's Mastery or Spelltwine.\n\nThe secondary wincon is obviously dragons, that's why Dragonback Assault and Rite of the Dragoncaller are included.\n\nMy land count seems low, but I run Sagu Wildling, Bloomvine Regent, Cultivate and Kodama's Reach in land slots because they fetch a playable land into my hand during the early turns. Also, I have a lot of cheap draw and scry to dig for land if necessary.\n\nI think the deck is unique in the way it chooses Dragonstorm as primary wincon. Also, it's a Temur dragon deck that's not helmed by the ubiquitous Miirym and Ureni, even if they are part of the 99. EDHREC lists 62 Intet dragon decks, this is my take on the matter. Thanks for reading.\n"}]}
