{"ops":[{"insert":"One of my favorite movie characters is the Genie from Aladdin. During all of his musical numbers, he has a tendency to duplicate himself and polymorph stuff. With that in mind, I think he'd enjoy this clone / polymorph / genie tribal deck. The goal is to make a token copy of any djinn or efreet and then let Brudiclad pump out clones for the win. If you are able to make nonlegendary clones, it's most effective to clone Brudiclad so that you can exponentially grow your clones with every combat. When you are ready, you can switch your Brudiclad clones to any genie token on the field for a massive genie alpha strike. \n\nSince there are a lot of temporary tokens from spells like twinflame or splinter twin, I put in some cards to help make good use of them. Jalira and proteus staff polymorph these temporary tokens into permanent creatures from your deck, djinn of infinite deceits lets you trade away a temporary token for an opponent's creature, and sundial of the infinite lets you keep the temporary token if you time the stack just right. \n\nHere are my favorite genie targets to populate a massive clone army:\nThundering djinn: Attack and burn the field based on the number of cards you've drawn."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Capricious efreet: Make sure that all clones target the same permanent that you control for maximum value."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Tidespout tyrant: Bounce a ton of permanents by dropping a single lotus petal."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Aladdin: Not a genie and not very good in this deck, but it fits with the theme and is easy to make a token clone (shockingly, he's not a legend). I used to watch the VHS copy of The Road to El Dorado at least twice a week when I was a kid. So, I built this deck to play to his style of one-sided deals and clever cons. Rankle and Torbran tends to be a two-edged sword of a commander that forces each player to sacrifice creatures and take extra damage in exchange for treasure tokens. Tulio would enjoy this decks fast-paced theme that dons the disguise of a false god demanding sacrifices and punishing your opponents for taking your treasure. I'd like to think that he would also see a little bit of himself and his mischievous lute-playing partner-in-crime Miguel in the pairing of Rankle and Torbran. \n\nHopefully this deck leaves you able to say, \"I fought your sister and that's a compliment.\" \n"},{"attributes":{"link":"https://archidekt.com/decks/7997672/miguel_and_tulio"},"insert":"Tulio's Biggest Scam • (Commander / EDH deck) • Archidekt"},{"insert":"\n\n"},{"insert":{"video":"https://www.youtube.com/embed/h3AqOR2Ru1s?showinfo=0"}},{"insert":"\n"}]}

First of all Woody hated change, and wanted to stay in the past, and so his deck reflects that, being made up of entirely Pre-Modern cards. The main theme of which are Artifacts, protecting artifacts, and turning artifacts into creatures, much like how the toys would shift between being play things and living creatures. Being a vintage toy himself, I felt it was fair to think Woody would have all of these reserve list cards. Many of the artifact creatures in the deck would remind Woody of his friends, such as Dragon Engine reminding him of Rex, or Patchwork Gnomes repairing themselves making Woody think of Mr. Potatohead. And of course Serpent Generator had to be there so Woody would never run out of snakes in his boots. Finally Ayesha Tanaka feels representative of Woody's worry of losing favor with Andy, wanting a tool in his deck to be able to slow down other artifacts.\n"}]}

The late and great Mr. Rogers. A man who would love to see how passionate we all are about what some people might feel is quite a silly game.\n\nWhen it popped into my head it brought up important questions I sometimes feel need to be answered. Questions we all should maybe ask ourselves from time to time. Are you being the person Mr. Rogers believes you to be? Would he be excited to talk to you?\n\nThe answer is of course, because he likes you just the way you are. It's you he likes, the way you are right now. \n\nHe would be proud and happy to sit down and play a game that you love and see you be passionate and excited. He might not get it at first. He may not be very good at it. That's okay, he's going to try anyways. Just give him time to figure it out. \n\nThe goal of this deck is to give Fred Rogers a deck he would enjoy in a game full of dark and scary things he would love to see things be full of light and hope. He wants to see you do what you love but doesn't want to see anyone get hurt. Everyone should be kind to each other. Because of that, we want to make sure that everyone gets to do their thing, but we don't want anyone to get hurt. So that's our goal. \n\nYour goal in this deck is to win via Happily Ever After. You earn extra points by winning if you have exactly 143 life. There are zero destroy or sacrifice effects for living things. Tons of ways to prevent damage and really just think about the things that are important to us. The deck is led by King Friday the Thirteenth....'s stand in. \n\nIs it a good deck that's going to guarantee a win? No, but it's really about the journey, having fun, and just enjoying giving it a try.\n\nIs it cheating when the prompt is asking about a movie character and I choose a TV Show host who has had movies made about him? Maybe. I feel as though we need a little bit more of Mr. Rogers and his particular brand of positivity in our lives right now. Doesn't your local pod deserve a little bit of him in your lives too?\n"}]}
