That's also why I build decks with few tutors and infinite combos - why play a format with 100 individual cards if all you want to do is play 2 or 3 every. Single. Time. It's why I love Commander play; it got me back into Magic. I tend to put a few resources in a variety of decks, with only a couple of mainstays from certain colors, but very little is that expensive.\n\nMy outlines cover a deck for each mono, dual, and triple color combo. I like slightly more creative takes on colors than would be expected (but not always), with 2.5+ mana value averages. I also tend to build decks that actually use the Commander as a critical element and not just a thing to pick out the color(s) used for a \"good stuff\" deck.\n\nThe pod I play in runs Aggro/creature heavy and is lower on control (mostly). It's a wide variety of skill level. These decks are mostly designed for modestly priced, non-power/cEDH (VERY casual) game play.\n"}]}
