I like to make new commander decks that challenge me to create something I haven't played before and then push it to be as good as I can over time. My deck-building philosophy is to start with \"good\" (the good enough cards that allow us to hit the strategy), then update to \"better\" (the typically more expensive cards that either help us land the strategy more consistently or speed the strategy up) and then finally upgrade to \"best\" (the top choice cards that solidify the deck and allow it to run at \"peak\" performance). I never consider my decks complete and constantly work to improve them over time.\n\nI tend to gravitate towards bracket 3 or 4 decks. I like that \"upgraded\" to \"optimized\" range. I am not a giant fan of tutors, but don't mind playing against them even though I tend not to run them myself. I know that almost all of my decks would be \"better\" by adding tutors. \n\nI restrict myself to only proxy cards I own to keep more than one deck together at a time. That is why none of my decks have the best duals or fast mana rocks. I may acquire more of these over time as I continue to play. I started with building budget commander decks and then worked my way up. I don't believe any of my current decks would be considered budget now.\n\nI don't pretend to know everything about MTG, so I am posting my decks here, hoping to get help from the wider MTG community. Please comment on any of my decks with suggestions and/or constructive criticism. I appreciate any help you can provide.\n"}]}
