{"ops":[{"insert":"I play pretty much exclusively EDH, and have been playing actively since February 2023. I got my first commander deck summer of 2019 from a friend, which was a €30 build of Ghost Council of Orzhova that was barely playable, but I only played at this bi-annual event I went to. Then COVID happened and I didn't touch magic until the same event restarted early 2022, at which point I brought the old deck as well as purchased the Buckle Up precon from Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. I again didn't play much for about a year, until early 2023 when I again went to the event and brought my two decks, still barely understanding the rules. This time, they were having a Brother's War sealed event (Phyrexia ONE had just released and was sold out at the LGS), so I joined it. I pulled a Myrel, Shield of Argive in the sealed, and my friends encouraged me to try to build my own deck with that. Another person at the event was also giving away most of his collection, so we looked through it and picked out a bunch of soldier cards to make a new deck from scratch. Now that I had a deck that I had built myself, understanding the deck building process and having a sense of ownership, I was fully hooked. Since that event I've become a regular at the local commander events, become a buyer and seller of singles online, and made dozens of decks. \n"}]}
